Spoor reads the job boards of the companies it tracks and shows every open posting, with the statistics drawn from them. It is free to use. By using the site you agree to these terms. What Spoor keeps about you is on the privacy page.
The postings
Every posting is published by the company that is hiring, on its own job board. Spoor copies it as it was published and does not write, check or endorse it. The words, pay and requirements in a posting are the company's.
Spoor is not a recruiter or an employer, and it is not part of any hiring process. Applying happens on the company's own site, between you and the company. Spoor is not told what happens next, and it is not responsible for it.
Boards are read once a day, so a posting can have closed, moved or changed since. Titles, levels and places are classified by machine, and can be wrong. Check anything that matters against the company's own page before relying on it.
The statistics
The counts, pay figures and trends are drawn from the postings Spoor has read. They describe those postings, not the whole job market, and they are provided as they are. They are not financial, career or legal advice.
Your account
An account is optional and signs in through Google. Keep that Google account secure; anything done while signed in is taken as done by you. You can delete your account at any time fromyour account page. An account used to abuse the site, or to break these terms, can be suspended or deleted.
Requesting a company
Send only details that are yours to send and true to your knowledge. A request is read by a person, and there is no promise that a company will be tracked.
Reading and reusing the data
You may read, link to and quote anything on Spoor, and reuse its statistics, with a link back to the page they came from.
Reading the site by machine is welcome, within robots.txt.llms.txt describes every page, andllms-full.txt carries the headline figures, the whole taxonomy and every place in one document. Keep automated requests to a rate that does not slow the site for anyone else.
You may not:
- try to reach any part of the site that is not linked publicly, or another reader's data;
- get around the limits on sign-in or on the request form;
- send anything meant to disrupt, overload or break the site;
- present Spoor, or its data, as endorsed by or belonging to you.
A posting's own text belongs to the company that published it. Reusing it is between you and that company.
No warranty
Spoor is provided as it is and as available. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and it can be down. As far as the law allows, no warranty is given, and Spoor is not liable for any loss that comes from using it or relying on it.
Changes
These terms can change, and when they do, the date at the top changes with them. Using the site after a change means accepting the terms as they then stand. Spoor itself can change, or stop, at any time.
