West Monroe is seeking a Senior Agentic Product Designer to join our Technology & Experience practice within the Software discipline. This role sits at the intersection of product design, software, and AI, helping clients solve complex problems and create intuitive digital products and experiences, including those enabled by AI and agentic capabilities. You will translate business and user needs into thoughtful solutions, define how people interact with products and AI agents, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring them to life. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in product and UX design, a consulting background with direct client-facing engagement, and hands-on expertise in AI-enabled and agentic design.

What You Will Do

  • Lead product and agentic design workstreams, translating business objectives, user needs, and technical capabilities into clear experience strategies, workflows, and design requirements.
  • Design end-to-end product experiences, defining interactions among users, AI agents, systems, data, and human-in-the-loop decision points.
  • Facilitate client workshops and working sessions to uncover needs, map workflows, identify opportunities, and align stakeholders around future-state experiences.
  • Plan and conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs, validate concepts, and inform design decisions.
  • Apply human-centered design principles and UX best practices across digital products and agentic systems, considering usability, accessibility, trust, transparency, user control, exception handling, and responsible AI.
  • Partner with software engineers, product managers, team leads, industry experts, and client stakeholders to move concepts from discovery through implementation.
  • Create user flows, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes using Figma and agentic design tools to explore, communicate, and validate product experiences.
  • Create, evolve, and work within design systems, developing reusable components, patterns, and foundations that support consistent, scalable product experiences.
  • Manage workstream deliverables, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and ensure work meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Effectively quality assure work through design and implementation and clearly communicates design rationale, recommendations, tradeoffs, and implications to client stakeholders.
  • Contribute agentic design expertise to proposals, pursuits, client research, and other business development activities.
  • Share expertise across the practice and help develop reusable product and agentic design methods, patterns, tools, and accelerators.
  • Use AI and agentic tools throughout the design process to explore product direction, rapidly create and iterate on working experiences, and collaborate more closely with product and engineering.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, or a related digital discipline, with a strong consulting or agency background.
  • Strong product and UX design fundamentals, including interaction design, information architecture, usability, accessibility, and visual design.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with clients, facilitating workshops, managing workstreams, and communicating with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing and applying findings to product and design decisions.
  • Experience designing agentic workflows and experiences, including human-agent interactions, workflow orchestration, decision points, and escalation or exception paths.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI, AI agents, conversational or interaction design, and the opportunities and constraints of AI-enabled software.
  • Ability to translate complex business and user needs into intuitive digital products, from defining new experiences and reimagining existing ones to creating user flows, detailed interface designs, and interactive prototypes that can move into development.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including creating high-fidelity designs and prototypes and creating, evolving, and working with design systems.
  • Experience using AI and agentic tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, Figma Make, Figma Agent, Pen) as part of the design process to explore, create, and iterate, coupled with strong critical thinking to assess outputs and ensure high-quality work.
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, facilitation, communication, and quality assurance skills.
  • A commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectives.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong end-to-end product design work and design process.
  • Ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
