About the role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer on a 6-month contract to help our Serverless Containers team ship new features to Verda Cloud. You will work remotely from Poland with a team spread across Helsinki and Europe.
What you will do
Design and build backend services in Go or Python
Improve reliability and performance of our container platform
Write clear technical documentation and code reviews
Work with product and infrastructure teams on delivery plans
What we are looking for
6+ years building backend systems in production
Experience with Kubernetes, containers and cloud APIs
Comfortable working independently on a contract basis
Able to overlap with Central European working hours
Practical details
Contract: B2B contractor agreement, 6 months with option to extend
Location: remote, Poland
Rate: hourly, invoiced monthly
