About the opportunity:
Responsible for the "direct" procurement activities for Vail Health and Surgery Center Supply Chain.
What you will do:

Executes purchasing activities and manages supply, service, repair, and capital purchase orders to support organizational, equipment, and project needs.

Supports cost, quality, and contract compliance initiatives through effective procurement practices.

Monitors and responds to supply disruptions, shortages, recalls, and other sourcing challenges.
|
|
| • |
Maintains item master, catalog, and supply chain system data to support operational effectiveness and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
|
|
| • |
Investigates and resolves invoice discrepancies, pricing variances, purchase order exceptions, and other billing-related issues to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing.

Provides customer-focused support to departments regarding requisitions, supply chain processes, and product needs.
|
|

Collaborates with vendors and suppliers to resolve issues and support business objectives.
|
|

Provides cross-functional support across purchasing, inventory, and departmental operations as assigned.

Leads and participates in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service, efficiency, and stewardship.

What you will need:
Experience
2 years of supply chain experience required.
2 years of healthcare supply chain experience preferred.
Education
Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
License(s) and Certification(s)
CMRP, Lean Six Sigma, or related certification preferred.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour.
Hourly Pay:
$29.74—$41.04 USD
