Nurse Practitioner – Disability Medical Evaluations | Altoona, PA
The IMA Group is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Altoona, PA, performing independent medical evaluations for individuals applying for disability benefits. This is an evaluation-only role: no treatment, no on-call, no follow-up. You’ll spend your time on what you do best, which is thorough, objective clinical assessments.
What You’ll Do:
- Take medical histories and perform focused physical examinations
- Review diagnostic testing and medical records
- Document findings in clear, accurate, objective medical reports
- Submit completed evaluations through our easy-to-use digital platform
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner License
- Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner Studies
- At least 1 year of NP experience (primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, PM&R, or orthopedics preferred)
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
