Summit Functional Services Director
Lead the Transformation of Treasury & Capital Markets Operations
As the Summit Functional Services Director, you will be the senior functional leader within our Professional Services organization, responsible for driving solution excellence, delivery quality, and customer success across Summit implementation, transformation, upgrade, and managed services engagements.
This is a strategic, client-facing leadership role that combines deep Summit expertise with consulting leadership, business advisory, and practice development. You will partner with senior client stakeholders, consulting teams, and delivery leaders to help financial institutions transform their treasury, risk, and capital markets operations.
What You'll Do
Lead Functional Consulting Excellence
- Serve as the functional authority for Summit solutions.
- Define consulting standards, delivery methodologies, and best practices.
- Provide leadership on complex treasury, risk, liquidity, and capital markets initiatives.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality solution design across customer engagements.
Drive Customer Success
- Build trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Lead executive workshops, solution strategy discussions, and transformation roadmaps.
- Advise clients on operating model improvements and industry best practices.
- Act as the escalation point for critical functional and business challenges.
Oversee Delivery & Governance
- Provide oversight across multiple implementation and transformation programs.
- Validate business requirements, solution designs, and delivery outcomes.
- Ensure successful execution from discovery through go-live and post-production support.
- Drive quality, risk management, and governance across engagements.
Develop People & Practice
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing functional consultants.
- Support hiring, capability development, and career growth.
- Create reusable methodologies, accelerators, and implementation assets.
- Foster a culture of consulting excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Support Business Growth
- Partner with Sales and Pre-Sales on strategic opportunities.
- Contribute to customer proposals, solution positioning, and discovery workshops.
- Help shape new service offerings and practice growth initiatives.
- Act as a thought leader within the Summit consulting community.
What You'll Bring
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Treasury, Capital Markets, Banking Technology, or Financial Services.
- Extensive hands-on Summit experience across implementation, transformation, upgrade, or migration programs.
- Proven leadership of complex customer engagements and consulting teams.
- Strong client-facing consulting and stakeholder management experience.
- Deep understanding of treasury and capital markets business processes and operating models.
Functional Expertise
