Shape the Future of Treasury & Capital Markets Technology

As the Summit Director, Technical Consulting, you will be the senior technical leader within our Professional Services organization, driving architecture excellence, technical delivery, and customer success across Summit implementations, upgrades, cloud migrations, and transformation programs.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing leadership role that blends strategic advisory, solution architecture, delivery governance, and team leadership. You will partner with clients, consultants, architects, and delivery teams to deliver innovative solutions that help financial institutions maximize the value of their Summit investment.

What You'll Do

Lead Technical Strategy & Architecture

• Serve as the technical authority for Summit solutions and architecture.
• Define technical standards, best practices, and delivery governance.
• Lead the design and review of complex architectures, integrations, and platform transformations.
• Provide guidance on cloud adoption, modernization, scalability, security, and performance.

Drive Customer Success

• Act as a trusted advisor to technology and business stakeholders.
• Lead architecture workshops, technical roadmaps, and strategic transformation discussions.
• Help clients solve complex treasury, risk, and capital markets challenges.
• Provide executive-level technical leadership during critical project phases.

Oversee Delivery Excellence

• Govern technical quality across implementations, upgrades, migrations, and managed services engagements.
• Support project planning, estimates, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, supportable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Act as the escalation point for critical technical issues.

Build High-Performing Teams

• Mentor and develop technical consultants, architects, and engineers.
• Foster a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support hiring, capability development, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Drive the development of reusable assets, accelerators, and delivery frameworks.

Support Business Growth

• Partner with Sales and Pre-Sales teams on strategic opportunities.
• Contribute to proposals, solution design, customer presentations, and technical assessments.
• Promote thought leadership and innovation within the Summit practice.

What You'll Bring

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in treasury, capital markets, banking technology, or financial services software.
• Deep expertise delivering and architecting Summit solutions.
• Proven leadership of complex implementations, upgrades, migrations, or transformation programs.
• Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and customer-facing experience.
• Track record of leading distributed technical teams and driving successful customer outcomes.

Technical Expertise

• Summit architecture, integrations, and technical frameworks.
• APIs, enterprise integrations, and data migration.
• Oracle, SQL, Unix/Linux, and modern integration technologies.
• Performance tuning, release management, and technical troubleshooting.
• Cloud, automation, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.

Business Knowledge
