Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd

Take your next step with Hastings Deering – where our people build something BIGGER!

We're seeking a Procurement Category Analyst to join our Procurement team in Archerfield, Brisbane on a permanent full-time basis.

As a Procurement Category Analyst, you'll provide the insights that drive procurement decisions across the business. Working alongside Category Managers and Category Specialists, you'll analyse spend, supplier and market data to uncover opportunities, identify risks and help shape sourcing strategies that deliver real commercial value.

This is not a traditional reporting role.

We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and motivated by solving problems. Someone who enjoys digging into the data, asking questions and finding opportunities others might miss.

One day you might be identifying unusual purchasing patterns across multiple sites. The next, you could be analysing supplier performance, supporting a major sourcing event or uncovering opportunities to improve spend visibility and supplier compliance. Your ability to turn complex data into meaningful insights will directly influence procurement decisions across the business.

In a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve and stakeholders have differing perspectives, you'll be relied upon to provide clear, evidence-based recommendations that help drive better business outcomes.

If you're someone who enjoys finding the story behind the numbers and turning insight into action, we'd love to hear from you.
