Electrical Inspector

Techsafe Australia are currently seeking Licensed Electrical Inspectors to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the role 

As an Electrical Inspector, you will undertake inspections in accordance with applicable Australian Standards, the Electrical Safety Act, Electrical Safety (General) Regulations and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements across a broad range of clients/contracts.

The successful applicant will possess the following (all mandatory):

• Electrical Inspectors License
• A Grade Electrical Licence
• VIC driver’s licence
• Current National Police Clearance

Skills & experience:

• Ability to resolve day-to-day operational issues and solve technical problems with a high degree of autonomy and independent judgement
• The ability to follow process and procedures correctly
• A strong awareness of OH&S work practices

• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems in domestic, commercial, industrial, renewable energy and network-related installations.
• Comprehensive skills in the use of technology such as iPads and software/reporting systems
• Exceptional customer service skills

Desirable skills & experience:

• RE endorsement on LEI licence
• Solar and/or BESS inspection experience
• Renewable energy project experience
• Network infrastructure experience
• Hazardous area/HV experience (if relevant)
