About Refold
Enterprise integrations are still built by hand, one customer at a time, by a human supply chain of consultants. We think that's the last big software category that hasn't been automated — and we're automating it.
Refold is the AI integration delivery layer. Our agents build, test, deploy, and maintain integration workflows inside our customers' own products, white-labeled, up to 90% faster. Trained on millions of real-world contexts across SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, and Salesforce, we turn integration work that used to take quarters into days — and then keep it running, because the agents detect failures and repair mappings themselves.
Traction: 30+ paying enterprise customers, 1,500+ active users, 10M+ API calls processed daily, seven-figure ARR. Customers include Incorta, Kantata, Coupa, Naehas, OvationCXM, and Zycus. The results are the pitch: Kantata ships integrations 75% faster with 8x delivery capacity; Incorta cut time-to-go-live by 70% and recovered 8,000+ engineering hours; Naehas went from 3–5-month builds to 90% faster delivery.
Refold was founded by Jugal Anchalia and Abhishek Kumar, who have been featured in Forbes 30 Under 30. We've raised $6.5M led by Eniac Ventures (early investors in Airbnb & Uber) and Tidal Ventures, with Better Capital, Ahead VC, Karman Ventures, Z21 Ventures, and Titan Ventures participating.
We're assembling a founding team of people who learn fast, raise the bar, and shape the company from day one. This is the second AE seat in the US and the first hired to build the motion, not inherit it.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the technical win: Lead discovery, demos, and architecture conversations from first call to signature. When a deal is won or lost on technical confidence, that outcome is yours
Build the proof, don't slide it: Stand up working prototypes against the customer's actual systems and messy data — SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce. Our product is the demo; a deck is a fallback, not a strategy
Run crisp POCs: Design focused evaluations with explicit success criteria, timelines, and exit conditions. We're deliberately moving away from 4-week POCs — help us prove value in days
Speak both languages: Translate schema mapping, auth flows, multi-tenancy, and in-tenant deployment into terms a CTO trusts and a VP of Professional Services can build a business case on
Clear security and procurement: Own architecture reviews, security questionnaires, and RFP/RFI responses. Air-gapped, in-tenant deployment is one of our strongest cards — know how to play it
Hand off clean: Partner with Delivery and our Forward Deployed Engineers so every go-live starts from a real technical plan, not a rediscovery exercise
Feed the platform: You'll be one of our highest-signal sources of product truth. Surface the gaps and friction you hit in the field and push them into the roadmap
Build the SE motion: Turn what works into a demo library, discovery framework, POC playbook, reference architectures, and competitive teardowns against iPaaS incumbents
Role Information:
Partners with: The founding AE team and the founders directly; backed by Forward Deployed Engineers and Delivery
Average deal size: $50–100K land / $200–300K expand
Average deal cycle: 3–6 months
Technical buyers you'll face: CTOs, CPOs, VPs of Product, VPs of Professional Services / Delivery, plus platform architects and security reviewers
Ideal customer: Sales-led with an integrations page, an internal PS team or SI dependency, and enterprise deals that hinge on connectors
Competitive set: iPaaS and middleware incumbents (MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, SnapLogic) and in-house build
Current growth team: 1 BDR, 1 AE, 2 Marketing, 4 Post-Sale, plus a 20-person engineering and delivery org
Required Skills & Abilities
Proven SE: 5–8 years in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting at a SaaS, data, or AI company. This is a hard requirement — we're not training someone into the seat
Builder, not just a presenter: Hands-on with APIs and data integration, and fluent enough in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript to build a working prototype yourself over a weekend
Enterprise systems fluency: Real experience with systems of record — SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, Dynamics — and the messy parts: custom fields, schema mapping, OAuth, retries, idempotency, why an integration broke at 2 am
Sales instinct: You've sold to or with product and professional services teams at software companies and understand what changes when your buyer's customer is the end user
Room-ready: You can hold a CTO's attention, survive a security review, and be the calm one when the demo environment misbehaves
High ownership in ambiguity: No playbook exists yet. You'll write it while running live deals, and you'll be comfortable doing both at once
Nice to Have
Background in iPaaS, middleware, integration, or data infrastructure — or a track record of selling against MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, or SnapLogic
Hands-on with LLMs and agentic frameworks, not just familiar with the concepts
Experience with air-gapped, in-tenant, or customer-VPC deployments and the security conversations that come with them
Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
First-SE or early-stage experience where you built the function, not joined one
Worked day-to-day with an offshore engineering or delivery team
