Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative - DREAM SCHEDULE, NO EVENINGS, NO WEEKENDS!

Full-time | Monday through Thursday, 8am to 6pm | No weekends
Pay: $23 to $25 per hour based on skills and experience

If you have a customer service background, stay calm when the phones are busy, and love helping people and pets, we’d love to meet you. Veterinary experience is a plus, but not required. We’ll train you.

What you’ll do
- Greet clients and their pets at the front desk and help them feel comfortable from the moment they arrive
- Answer a multi-line phone system with a friendly, professional, and efficient approach
- Schedule and confirm appointments, follow up on missed visits, and enter new client information accurately
- Keep clients updated on wait times and delays
- Answer basic questions about pet care and routine procedures
- Process invoices and payments, including cash, credit card, Scratchpay, and CareCredit
- Relay phone, email, and fax messages promptly and keep client records up to date
- Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and running smoothly using daily checklists
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service, receptionist, or front desk experience required, ideally in a veterinary, medical, or dental office
- Comfort with computers, scheduling software, and handling payments
- A warm, caring presence and strong organization skills when the day gets busy
