About the Role

We are looking for motivated graduates who want to build a career in Microsoft Azure, Cloud Operations, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). As an Associate Cloud Engineer, you will support enterprise Azure environments, monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to automation and operational improvements.

This role is part of a rotational 24x7 cloud operations model and requires collaboration with team members across India and North America.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support Azure cloud environments across multiple customer platforms.
• Participate in rotational 24x7 shifts to support continuous cloud operations.
• Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests and assist with timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage, backups, identity, performance, and availability issues.
• Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools to investigate infrastructure health.
• Perform health checks, patch validation, maintenance, and backup verification.
• Assist with Azure deployments and configuration changes.
• Develop basic automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools.
• Document incidents, resolutions, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams across India and North America, including shift handovers and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Understanding of operating systems, networking, infrastructure, and cloud fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Windows or Linux environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work rotational 24x7 shifts, including schedules aligned with global operations.
• Eagerness to learn and build a long-term career in cloud engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure through academic projects, internships, certifications, or self-learning.
• Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or a similar language.
• Understanding of virtualization, networking, Git, DevOps, or automation concepts.
• Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification is a plus.
