About the job:
Leads and manages production operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing while meeting business targets and driving continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
Production & Operations Leadership
• Own end-to-end production operations across all manufacturing lines, ensuring compliance with GMP, HSE, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Deliver production plans aligned with demand, inventory strategy, and service level requirements.
• Ensure robust shop-floor execution with a strong focus on safety, right-first-time, and productivity.
Quality, GMP & Compliance
• Act as a key custodian of GMP compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory inspections.
• Partner closely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and EHS teams.
• Drive deviation management, CAPA rigor, and root-cause analysis.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
• Lead operational excellence initiatives (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma).
• Establish and track KPIs covering safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale.
• Drive productivity, yield, and cost improvements.
People & Organization Leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing production leadership team.
• Build succession plans, capability development, and engagement.
• Foster a culture of accountability and psychological safety.
Site & Matrix Collaboration
• Serve as a core member of the site leadership team.
• Collaborate effectively with regional and global manufacturing stakeholders.
• Support site expansion, tech transfers, and new product introductions.
About you
Education & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Advanced degree in Operations or Management is an advantage.
Experience
• Preferably 10+ yrs in production or maintenance function working in pharmaceutical, nutritional, CHC, F&B or Electronics industry
• Strong leadership experience in GMP-regulated facilities.
• Proven track record in operational excellence and people leadership.
