Ready to take ownership of the timeline behind a complex greenfield project?
As Schedule Controller, you will be embedded in the project controls team, working closely with the Project Manager and across work packages, contractors, cost and risk control, commissioning and delivery readiness. Your focus will be to create one credible, integrated view of the project timeline, maintain an honest critical path, and provide early visibility of anything that could put the start-up date at risk.
The Role & Your Impact
You will own and maintain the integrated master schedule across design, procurement, construction and commissioning. More than maintaining a schedule, your role is to turn planning information, progress and constraints into insights that support project decisions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain the integrated master schedule across design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
- Measure earned value and physical progress in collaboration with work package owners.
- Perform critical-path and float analysis and develop scenarios and recovery plans when required.
- Drive look-ahead planning, constraint management and readiness reviews with site teams.
- Track project milestones and gates through G3 to G5, including resource and manpower planning and levelling.
- Assure contractor schedules by reviewing alignment and interface logic, while supporting 4D/BIM integration of the construction sequence.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
We are looking for someone who brings:
- A degree in engineering, construction management or a similar relevant field.
- 5+ years of planning experience within large capital or greenfield projects.
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Fluency in critical path method (CPM) and earned value approaches.
- Experience reviewing and assuring contractor schedules across multi-package project sites.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to turn schedule information into clear decisions and actions.
Additional Skills & Interests We Value
Experience with 4D/BIM integration, construction sequencing, resource levelling, recovery planning or commissioning interfaces would be valuable additions to the core profile.
What We Offer
You will have an opportunity to work at the centre of a complex greenfield project, collaborating across project management, engineering and construction disciplines. The role offers broad exposure across the project lifecycle, from design and procurement through construction, commissioning and start-up.
