Want to turn complex investment needs into clear priorities and smarter decisions?

Join Fermentation & Recovery Development (FRD), Quality & Engineering in Bagsværd and take a central role in shaping the investments that strengthen FRD today while creating greater transparency across the wider Product & Process Development (PPD) CAPEX portfolio. You will work across operations, engineering and investment planning, connecting stakeholders and information to create structure, alignment and effective follow-up.

The role & your impact

As CAPEX & Portfolio Specialist, you will own and coordinate the local FRD CAPEX portfolio, connecting investment needs, budgets, priorities and project governance. At the same time, you will create a consolidated view of CAPEX portfolios across PPD, supporting alignment and management discussions, while local portfolio and project ownership remains within the relevant PPD areas.

Your key responsibilities in this role

  • Own and maintain the FRD CAPEX portfolio, ensuring clear prioritization, budget alignment and transparent monthly reporting.
  • Facilitate FRD CAPEX meetings and the Annual Investment Planning process, working closely with leadership, Engineering, Maintenance and Technology Specialists.
  • Provide clear CAPEX portfolio data and support decisions for investment prioritization, capacity planning and management discussions.
  • Maintain a consolidated overview of CAPEX portfolios across PPD, coordinating consistent reporting on investment plans, status, milestones and shared priorities.
  • Facilitate the Novonesis Project Framework in FRD and PPD, supporting colleagues with project governance and contributing as project manager, user manager or project representative in selected CAPEX projects.
  • Drive relevant improvement projects related to operations, facility upgrades, compliance, safety and other priorities.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role

You bring a combination of structure, collaboration and sound judgment, and you are comfortable working with both detailed portfolio information and the bigger strategic investment picture.

We expect you to have:

  • A relevant academic degree or other relevant professional experience.
  • Relevant experience in portfolio management, project coordination, project management, process engineering or a related technical role.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
  • A structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach and the ability to manage several priorities.
  • SAP HANA EUP capabilities for reporting purposes, or the ability to develop these capabilities quickly.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Danish.

Additional skills & interests we value

It would be an advantage if you also bring:

  • Experience with CAPEX planning, portfolio reporting or investment governance.
  • Knowledge of GMP, safety, environment and qualification requirements.
  • Knowledge of industrial production or pilot plant facility

What we offer you

This is an opportunity to take a central position at the intersection of operations, engineering and investment planning. You will have the opportunity to strengthen how FRD develops its facilities and capabilities while helping PPD build a clearer and more coordinated view of future investments.

You will collaborate broadly with managers, project owners, engineers, Maintenance, Technology Specialists, Finance and other portfolio stakeholders, giving you considerable exposure across the organization and the opportunity to influence through facts, transparency and constructive dialogue.
