WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role reports to the Manager, Software Engineering, within Global Procurement Technology at the India Technology Center (ITC) in Bangalore.

The ITC team supports global procurement and corporate functions, enabling NIKE to operate efficiently and at scale across regions. As the lead technical program manager for indirect procurement, you will own the end-to-end program strategy for Source-to-Pay (S2P) solutions and coach TPMs who execute roadmaps for individual product areas.

Successful delivery and operational excellence in this role depend on close collaboration with:

  • Senior TPMs, software engineers, architects, analysts, and business partners across indirect procurement products such as Coupa, Tririga, Beeline, Concur, Aravo, and related SaaS platforms
  • Core ERP teams (SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and Oracle) covering accounts payable, tax, and related domains
  • Engineering, security, and enterprise architecture partners
  • External SaaS vendors and technology partners

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a seasoned technical program leader with deep expertise in procurement processes and platforms, particularly integrating sourcing and procurement SaaS with SAP (ECC and S/4HANA). The successful candidate combines hands-on S2P and P2P knowledge with proven ability to define multi-horizon roadmaps, lead TPMs, and influence senior business and technology stakeholders in a global enterprise.

In this role, you will own product vision and roadmap articulation, portfolio prioritization, program governance, and delivery cadence across scrum teams. You will facilitate workshops and design discussions at the portfolio level, validate requirements and solution approaches, mentor senior and junior TPMs, and partner with procurement leadership to deliver scalable, audit-ready capabilities worldwide.

This position is based in Bangalore, India. We welcome applications from candidates currently residing in Bangalore as well as those willing to relocate.
Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years in software engineering, technical program management, or product delivery with a strong focus on procurement processes and platforms, including hands-on experience integrating multiple indirect procurement tools with SAP (ECC and S/4HANA).
  • Demonstrated leadership of TPMs or cross-functional delivery teams across P2P and S2P products, SaaS-based procurement systems, and ERP master and transactional data flows.
  • Expertise in integration strategy—source-to-target mapping, payload design, transformations, and patterns spanning APIs, events, batch/file, and middleware—with ability to guide architects and engineers.
  • Proficiency with portfolio and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Lucid (or equivalents); experience defining prioritization frameworks and operating rhythms for global programs.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to synthesize complex technical and process topics for business, engineering, and vendor audiences.
  • Comfort leading in a fast-paced, results-oriented, global environment with competing priorities and ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset: you develop others, model curiosity, and drive continuous improvement across teams and vendors.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • You will define and communicate the vision and roadmap for enterprise Source-to-Pay and procurement technology that supports Nike's global indirect procurement operations.
  • You will lead portfolio-level prioritization with procurement, finance, and technology leaders—balancing demand, risk, cost, and capability—and drive decisions to clear commitments.
  • You will translate strategic intent into phased delivery plans, success metrics, and well-scoped backlogs, guiding teams on out-of-the-box SaaS use versus justified extensions.
  • You will mentor and develop TPMs and senior engineers on delivery execution, stakeholder engagement, and program governance.
  • You will partner with ERP, security, enterprise architecture, and external SaaS vendors to align solutions with Nike standards, integration patterns, and long-term platform direction.
  • You will establish program health metrics, release readiness criteria, and escalation paths so teams deliver predictably across regions.
  • You will anticipate regulatory, audit, and operational needs (e.g., SOX, data residency, vendor SLAs) and embed them in roadmap planning.
