Financial infrastructure for businesses and agents. Mural is the compliant system of record you build on to move, store, and grow money. Launch financial products your customers love. We provide the financial primitives, licenses, and compliance, and our forward deployed team gets you live in two weeks. Under the hood, fiat and blockchain run as one system. Their customers never see any of it. Money comes in, money goes out, and it just gets there.
We've processed over $2 billion across US dollar, stablecoin, and international rails. That includes USDC and USDT on major blockchains, ACH and wire in the US, and local rails across Latin America and Europe (PIX, SPEI, Bre-B, CBU/CVU, SEPA). Customers include Deel, Opera, Blinka, Axexo, Akaunt, and more. We've raised $28 million in total, including our $15 million Series A led by Tether and North Island Ventures.
The Role
As companies expand globally, holding, moving, and reconciling money becomes slow, fragmented, and fragile. And now, at an inflection point for global finance, stablecoins are emerging as the rails that fix that, but most companies don't yet know how to adopt them. That's where you come in.
You’ll be our first Country Manager for Brazil, which means you're not just executing a playbook, you're helping define it. You’ll work directly with our founders and leadership team to establish Mural’s presence in the market, build the relationships that matter, and shape what our business in Brazil becomes.
You run Mural in Brazil. You will touch marketing, partnerships, customer relationships, operations, and product. Ultimately, you will own and be accountable for two things:
Monthly active accounts: the number of Mural accounts with payment activity in the last 30 days
Country P&L
What You Will Own
Market presence. Map the companies in Brazil that stand to benefit most from Mural and build lasting relationships with the leaders at each. You are the face of Mural in the local business community, through dinners, breakfasts, events, and whatever else it takes to earn trust. You get a dedicated budget to do so.
Local infrastructure. Build a clear point of view on what best-in-class accounts, payments, and financial services look like in Brazil. This includes mapping every account and FX provider, fintech, and competitor, along with their product offerings. Get to know them, understand their products intimately, and determine who we partner with and who we compete with. In other words: what do we need to build to offer the country’s best local account and payments infrastructure?
Ground truth. You are, and continue to become, the expert on local regulation, compliance requirements, and anything else that touches our product in Brazil.
Product direction for Brazil. Based on your understanding of customers, local infrastructure, and regulatory requirements, you inform the Product team on what we should build and why.
Who You Are
You have run a business unit or market. A country, a P&L, or a business unit where the outcome was yours and there was nobody to hand it to.
You know Brazil's financial landscape intimately. You have either led a financial services business in Brazil or built world-class financial products there. You understand the space and what it needs.
You are product-oriented. You can sit with an engineer and with a CPO in the same hour and be useful to both.
You are already connected, and you build more. You know who to call. You would rather have dinner with eight business leaders than send 800 emails.
You are built for the first quarter being lonely. You will be on your own in market for one to two quarters. That is deliberate. Headcount comes from what you prove, not from the plan.
