TheSeniorFacilitator/Consultant(PerDiem)deliversengaginglearningexperiences—bothinpersonandvirtually—thatstrengthenthe

professionalandleadershipcapabilitiesofMontefioreemployeesfromthefrontlinetotheexecutivelevel.Askilledpractitionerin leadershipandorganizationaldevelopment,thisindividualcreatespsychologicallysafeenvironmentswheretrustisbuiltquickly, participation is encouraged, and diverse perspectives are valued. Through expert facilitation, they set clear engagement agreements, model inclusive practices, and address unhelpful behaviors in ways that support respect, collaboration, and growth.

With deep expertise in leadership development, the Senior Facilitator/Consultant surfaces group dynamics, challenges assumptions withsupportiveinquiry,andconnectsparticipantinsightstorelevantframeworksandorganizationalpriorities.Believingthatthe wisdomandsolutionsliewithinthegroup,theyguideleadersandteamstowardconstructivedialogue,meaningfulreflection,and practicalapplication—enablingimprovedcollaboration,strongerleadershipeffectiveness,andoutcomesalignedwithMontefiore’s mission and values.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, HR, Education, Organizational Psychology or related field required - Masters preferred

• 10 years’ experiencefacilitatinggroupdynamicsincomplex,high stakes,oradhocsituations,demonstratingagilityand presenceunderpressure.

• Minimumof5yearsinaleadershiprole,withprovenabilitytoinspire,guide,andinfluenceotherseffectively.

• Demonstratedexpertiseinfacilitatingteamdevelopmentexercises,includinginterventionsthatstrengthentrust,collaboration,and performance.

• Formal training and experience in group dynamics, with the ability to recognize, surface, and address underlying issues constructively. Proven ability to engage participants in interactive workshops both in person and virtually, using tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other digital collaboration platforms.

• In-depthknowledgeofleadershipandorganizationaldevelopmenttheories,models,andbestpractices,andtheabilitytotranslatethese into practical application.

• Experiencewithassessments(e.g.,personality,leadership,teameffectivenesstools)anddemonstratedskillinfacilitatinggroupdebriefs that generate insight and action.

• Exceptionalcommunicationskills—capableofclearlyconveyingnuancedorcomplexideaswithclarity,tact,andinfluence. Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithdiversegroupsatalllevelsoftheorganization,includingexecutives,frontlineleaders,and multidisciplinary teams.

• Strongculturalcompetenceandabilitytofosterequity,inclusion,andrespectfordiverseidentitiesinallfacilitationcontexts.

• Agile learner who actively seeks out resources, research, and practices to keep knowledge and facilitation methods current and relevant. Understandingofevaluationmethodstomeasurelearningimpactandinformcontinuousimprovement.

• Comfortablewithaconsultativeapproach,partneringwithstakeholderstoalignfacilitationwithorganizationalpriorities. MustbeabletoworkonsiteatlocationsintheBronxandWestchesterCountywithflexibilitytoadapttoorganizationalneeds.
