At Moneybox, our mission is to give everyone the means to get more out of life. We’re guided by our belief that wealth isn’t about the money, it’s about the means to more – more freedom, opportunities, possibilities, and peace of mind.
Moneybox is an award-winning wealth management platform, helping over one and a half million people build wealth throughout their lives, whether they’re saving and investing, buying their first home, or planning for retirement.
Job Brief
At Moneybox, we help over a million people save and invest for their future. Behind the scenes, our 450+ colleagues rely on our in-house Workplace Tech team to give them the tools they need to do their best work.
We’re a small, hands-on team that takes ownership and gets things done. From setting up a new joiner’s first laptop to managing the security and identity tools that protect an FCA-regulated business, we make sure our technology works for everyone.
We’re looking for a proactive Workplace Tech Analyst to join us. You’ll be a go-to person for colleagues when technical issues arise, taking ownership and making sure problems are resolved properly. You’ll see the impact of your work every day, with opportunities to develop your skills in security, identity and infrastructure as the team evolves.
Hybrid working & hours
This role is based in our London office for three days and two days from home per week.
Hours are: 09:00 to 17:30 with 08:00 to 16:30 being required once a month (first Thursday of the month)
What you'll do
- Be the first point of contact for all tech-related queries, turning employee challenges into effective solutions.
- Own your tickets from pickup to closure, keeping requesters and the team updated with clear notes at every stage and keeping our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) front and centre.
- Flag blockers early and ask for help when you're unsure. We’d rather hear about a problem on day one than discover it on day five.
- Work closely with the wider team to escalate and resolve more complex issues, ensuring a smooth handover.
- Actively listen to understand issues thoroughly and translate them into clear, actionable technical resolutions.
- Handle access requests with care, applying least-privilege and role-based access principles across our systems.
- Contribute to and maintain our internal knowledge base by documenting solutions, creating 'how-to' guides, and sharing best practices to empower staff with self-service options.
- Help our new starters hit the ground running by running our weekly group onboarding sessions (in person and remote) and delivering smooth tech setups, and ensure a thorough, auditable offboarding process for leavers.
- Keep our meeting rooms and video conferencing kit in top shape with regular checks and proactive monitoring.
- Maintain a well-organised and secure inventory of our laptops and other tech equipment in our asset management system.
- Lend a hand with project work, including security and infrastructure projects, providing support whenever extra resources are needed.
Who you are
- A driven, ambitious individual who’s looking to build their career at an exciting, very fast-growing company.
- Has a genuine interest in technology and using it to help people work effectively.
- Reliable and responsive: you follow through on what you say you’ll do and keep people in the loop.
- Comfortable working autonomously, with the judgement to know when to check in or escalate.
- Security-minded: you understand why access controls, audit trails and compliance training matter in a regulated business, and treat them as part of the job.
- Naturally personable, great communicator who has a passion for their work and the people they work with.
- Knows how to have fun whilst maintaining a professional outlook.
Experience and skills
- Experience with ticketing systems (ideally Freshservice) and keeping support tickets updated with clear, useful notes.
- Experience with Google Workspace, plus familiarity with SSO and password management tools such as 1Password.
- Comfortable supporting both Mac and Windows environments, ideally with exposure to MDM tools such as Iru (formally Kandji) and Microsoft Intune / Entra ID.
- Basic knowledge of iOS and Android devices.
- An understanding of least-privilege and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to describe technical fixes in an easy-to-understand way.
- Clear, friendly written and verbal communication, and confidence presenting to small groups.
- Nice to have: experience with CrowdStrike, Cloudflare Zero Trust, Snipe-IT, Slack administration, or scripting and automation (e.g. GAM, Bash, PowerShell).
