Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Analyze, troubleshoot, install, rebuild, adjust, and replace kitchen appliance equipment.
· Performs major and/or minor repairs, as well as preventative and corrective maintenance of kitchen equipment. Order and maintain inventory of appliance parts as needed.
· Your responsibilities include communicating with other food industry professionals and making sure cooking appliances work properly.
· you will be responsible for completing activities on the preventive maintenance schedule as specified in hotel plans, cleaning all work areas after finishing the tasks properly looking after all the tools professionally supplied by the Hotel, and correctly maintaining and depositing them after finishing the shift.
· Perform repairs and maintenance duties on a wide variety of kitchen, refrigeration, and laundry equipment such as walk-in freezers, industrial-sized steam cookers, refrigerators, ice machines, washers, ovens, dryers, dishwashers, and water coolers.
· Carry out the installation of new equipment; perform repairs on leaks; ensure settings and wiring controls; change equipment parts that have become old or defective.
· Collaborate with other maintenance colleagues and other departmental colleagues to effectively provide solutions to maintenance problems.
· Attend quickly to emergency calls on equipment repair issues
