Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions-Core (MCAPS) accelerates customer outcomes and business growth. By uniting product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, and partners around a common customer mission, we help customers realize value faster and turn innovation into measurable business impact. Through deep technical expertise and differentiated go-to-market execution, we win competitively, capture market share, and scale repeatable growth motions. We differentiate through value creation - delivering world-class, AI-powered customer experiences that accelerate adoption, strengthen loyalty, and create sustainable competitive advantage, driving growth that outpaces the market.

The Consumer Channel Sales (CCS) organization works with retail and ecosystem partners to drive profitable growth across Windows, Surface, and Microsoft 365, and to inspire customers to use Copilot as their preferred AI companion to achieve more. We bring together Channel Sales, Channel Marketing, and Category teams to build and sell a winning portfolio and create differentiated customer experiences across physical and digital retail.

In Asia, CCS is focused on high-impact developed markets and managed retail partners, with Japan as a priority market. Our channel strategy is customer-first, partner-led, and growth-focused: we work with leading retail partners to strengthen portfolio planning, create differentiated omnichannel experiences, accelerate Copilot+ PC adoption, grow Windows share, drive profitable Surface growth, and expand Microsoft 365 attach and acquisitions.

As a Partner Account Manager in Japan Channel Sales, you will manage the business performance of an assigned Market Maker Account and execute account strategies that accelerate growth across Windows, Surface, and Microsoft 365. You will build a strong understanding of the partner's business, customers, market dynamics, competitive environment, and OEM strategies; identify business gaps and growth opportunities; develop and execute joint business plans; recommend improvements to product assortment and customer experience; and collaborate with partner and Microsoft stakeholders to deliver measurable sales and market-share outcomes.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
