About The Opportunity
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and adjusting Flexo Folder Gluer, Rotary Press, or Corrugator Double Backer equipment to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Ideal candidates have previous machine operating experience, strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, attention to quality, and the ability to perform equipment setups, adjustments, and changeovers.Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $29.00–$34.00 per hour
- Shift: Overnight
- Hours: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
- 12-hour shifts
What You’ll Do
As a Machine Operator, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating production equipment while maintaining quality and meeting production expectations.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up, operate, and monitor assigned production equipment
- Perform machine adjustments and changeovers as needed
- Monitor product quality throughout production runs
- Read and follow production orders and job specifications
- Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment or production issues
- Minimize downtime and maintain efficient machine operation
- Coordinate with Machine Assistants and other production team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
- Communicate equipment, quality, or material concerns promptly
What We’re Looking For
- Previous manufacturing and machine operation experience
- Experience operating Flexo Folder Gluers, Rotary Presses, Corrugators, or similar production equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers
- Strong attention to product quality and specifications
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a production team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, reach, push, pull, and twist.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely push or pull heavier materials using appropriate equipment or team assistance.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements
