Suburban Volvo Cars Troy is seeking a motivated Express Technician to perform routine vehicle maintenance while delivering an exceptional experience for our customers. This position reports directly to the Service Manager and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and is looking to build a long-term career in the automotive industry. Starting pay is $17.00+ per hour based on experience, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, multi-point inspections, battery testing, and fluid services.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and communicate findings to the service team.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and document work performed.
• Follow manufacturer standards, safety procedures, and dealership processes.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional.
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Support the service department by assisting with additional tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous automotive experience, technical school training, or a strong interest in automotive repair preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Team-oriented mindset with a customer-focused attitude.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

Starting pay: $17.00+ per hour based on experience, qualifications, and skill level.
