NOW HIRING AUTOMOTIVE EXPRESS LUBE ADVISORS!

Schedule:Must have open availability, including Saturdays

You will report to the Service Manager.

This is an onsite position in Norfolk, VA.

Responsibilities:

As a Service Advisor, you will initiate automotive services and repairs. You will make sure vehicle performance problems and service requests, verifying warranty and service contract coverage, developing estimates, and writing repair orders. Additionally, you will maintain customer records.

• Be the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure the technician understands the customer's needs and ensure the customer understands the needed and recommended service/repairs.

• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer's payment, including deductibles.

• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.

• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.

• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.

• Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.

Qualifications:

• Previous Service Advisor experience.

• 3+ years experience as an automotive technician.

• A team player who is focused on providing customer service.

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.

• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

Total Rewards

Potential Annual Earnings: $45,000-$72,000

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
