Make an impact. Change lives. Live a Legacy.

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation team at Kavod Senior Life, a vibrant senior living community offering primarily Independent Living with a smaller Assisted Living population.

Position Highlights:

  • Up to $39/hour
  • Full-time position
  • Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends
  • One-on-one treatment
  • 80% productivity expectation
  • Russian language skills are a plus!

What makes this opportunity different?

This isn’t a high-volume outpatient setting! You’ll provide individualized, one-on-one care, giving you more time to focus on your residents and build meaningful relationships with the people you serve. At Kavod Senior Life, you’ll primarily work with residents in Independent Living, with a smaller Assisted Living population. Therapy goes beyond the rehab gym, allowing you to provide care throughout the community and help residents maintain their independence in the environment where they live every day.

And you’ll have a pretty great work environment too! The therapy space is located on the top floor, offering great views from the community. Kavod serves a diverse resident population, including a large Russian-speaking community, so Russian language skills are a plus, but not required.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will:

  • Provide individualized, one-on-one treatment sessions.
  • Carry out treatment plans under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Help residents improve independence with everyday activities.
  • Communicate resident progress with the supervising therapist and care team.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support meaningful outcomes.

Your Legacy career offers great experiences, work/life balance, and excellent rewards, including:

  • 401(k)
  • Medical, dental, vision, prescription, and pet insurance
  • Paid time off (PTO) with rollover and buyout options at year’s end
  • Company-paid group life insurance
  • Flexible spending account
  • Voluntary life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance
  • Licensure reimbursement
  • MedBridge access with unlimited online continuing education for full-time employees.

Invest in your clinical growth:

Legacy’s Skills Development Program provides eligible full- and part-time employees with financial support toward approved professional certifications after one year of employment. Opportunities for therapy professionals include certifications in geriatrics, LSVT BIG, lymphedema, dementia care, and more.
