Project Management Engineer (PJM – DSS)
Location: Molex Hung Yen (Daily shuttle service from Hanoi/ HaiDuong/ Bacninh)

Molex Vietnam has been operating its first factory at Thang Long Industrial Park I since 2007. Currently, Molex is investing in a NEW FACTORY COMPLEX located at Thang Long Industrial Park II, Hung Yen province, with a total investment of approximately 145 million USD, covering an area of 100,000 m², 3 plants and divided into 3 phases . This factory will produce high-tech products, such as high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.
Primary Purpose
Lead manufacturing transfer and NPI projects from initiation through phase-gate completion and production ramp-up. Own project schedules, coordinate 4M readiness, manage risks and actions, and drive cross-functional alignment to achieve timing, cost, quality, safety, and production-readiness targets.
Key Responsibilities
·Lead cross-functional and cross-site coordination for transfer, NPI, capacity expansion, and ramp-up projects.
·Develop and manage project master schedules, milestones, phase gates, action plans, and regular status updates.
·Coordinate 4M readiness: Man, Machine, Material, and Method, including manpower, training, equipment, tooling, BOM/materials, processes, and capacity.
·Identify and manage project risks, issues, recovery actions, and escalations to protect key milestones.
·Coordinate equipment, tooling, qualification, procurement, and investment activities, including CAPEX/PAR, GCA, RFQ/PR/PO tracking.
·Maintain project documentation, dashboards, risk/action logs, and readiness reports.
·Drive project deliverables through successful production ramp-up and handover to mass production.
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field.
·3+ years of project coordination/management experience in a manufacturing environment.
·Experience in NPI, manufacturing transfer, capacity expansion, or production ramp-up preferred.
·Strong project planning, risk management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
·Able to understand technical drawings, BOMs, process flows, capacity, and basic costing.
·Strong English communication; Chinese is an advantage.
·Proficient in Microsoft Office/project reporting tools; knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and CAPEX/procurement processes is preferred.
