This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Structural BIM Technician based in the United States.
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Structural BIM Technician focused on building accurate and coordinated structural models in Revit. You will contribute to the production of plans, details, notes, and other project documentation from structural BIM models. The role covers a range of building structures, including concrete, wood, steel, and light gauge systems. You will work closely with project teams and other disciplines to support effective design coordination and high-quality deliverables. The position also provides opportunities to contribute to internal drafting standards and develop stronger Revit production practices. It is well suited to a technically capable professional who enjoys collaborative project environments and continuous learning
Accountabilities:
- Execute assigned structural modeling tasks using Revit while maintaining accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project requirements.
- Develop sheet views, including plans, details, notes, and other documentation generated from Revit models.
- Monitor production schedules and remain aware of deadlines and milestones for assigned responsibilities.
- Review completed work at key stages to identify errors, omissions, coordination issues, or opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with the development and refinement of internal drafting standards, including Revit families and modeling practices.
- Collaborate with project team members and other disciplines to coordinate structural design information and resolve technical or project-related issues.
- Participate in team and company-wide meetings focused on project coordination, technical challenges, and production requirements.
- Maintain a professional and collaborative working relationship with colleagues across projects.

- Manage multiple project assignments while maintaining expected quality standards and meeting established deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience using Revit is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with concrete, wood, steel, and light gauge building structures.
- Strong understanding of structural drafting and BIM production workflows.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally in both written and verbal settings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate on practical and innovative solutions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Willingness to continue developing technical expertise, production proficiency, and Revit standards.
