Insurance Product Solution Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Insurance Product Solution Architect based in India.

This senior architecture role focuses on defining the technology vision for scalable, reusable Insurance product platforms. You will shape architectures designed to support multiple insurance carriers across North America while balancing configurability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability. The position combines deep Insurance domain expertise with modern cloud, API, integration, data, and microservices architecture. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Pre-Sales teams to translate architectural strategy into market-ready solutions. The role also provides an opportunity to influence product roadmaps and evaluate emerging technologies such as AI, GenAI, automation, and event streaming. Your architectural leadership will help create future-ready SaaS and digital solutions that can evolve across diverse Insurance environments.

• Define and maintain the target architecture and technology vision for the Insurance product suite.
• Establish scalable, configurable, reusable, and multi-tenant product architecture models.
• Drive API-first, microservices-based, and cloud-native architectural principles across product development.
• Own the enterprise integration blueprint and define scalable integration patterns for Insurance products.
• Ensure compatibility with common Insurance core systems, partner platforms, and external ecosystems.
• Define product-level data architecture and models supporting configurable reporting, analytics, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish data governance, security, and privacy-by-design principles across product architectures.
• Define cloud-native architecture patterns across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Establish standards for CI/CD, DevOps, containerization, infrastructure automation, scalability, high availability, and performance.
• Support SaaS deployment models and ensure architecture decisions enable reliable product operations at scale.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, GenAI, automation, and event streaming, and identify opportunities to enhance the product platform.
• Partner with Product Management to shape product roadmaps based on architectural strategy and long-term technology direction.
• Support Sales and Pre-Sales teams with technical positioning, solution demonstrations, and architecture storytelling.
• Ensure architectural decisions remain aligned with Insurance market needs and the evolving requirements of multiple carriers.

Requirements:

• 18+ years of enterprise technology experience with significant exposure to the Insurance domain.
• Deep understanding of core Insurance processes, including policy administration, underwriting, claims, and related business functions.
• Strong expertise in microservices, API-driven architectures, enterprise integration patterns, and middleware technologies.
• Extensive knowledge of data architecture, analytics ecosystems, data governance, security, and privacy principles.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Experience designing scalable, highly available, and performance-focused technology platforms.
• Proven experience architecting reusable product platforms rather than focusing solely on individual project implementations.
• Experience with Insurance product platforms, SaaS solutions, or multi-tenant digital products.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure automation, and modern engineering practices.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and translate their potential into practical product architecture strategies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Pre-Sales teams.
• Strategic thinking combined with the ability to translate architectural vision into actionable technical standards and product roadmaps.
