This role is an opportunity to shape how a modern People function operates in an AI-first environment. You will own high-impact programs spanning performance management, compensation, People operations, AI adoption, and organizational transformation. As a key program manager, you will bring structure, accountability, and momentum to complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple People teams. Accountabilities:
- Own the end-to-end mid-year and annual performance and compensation cycles, including program management, check-ins, reviews, calibration, and compensation timelines.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, and People leadership to coordinate performance and pay programs and ensure successful execution.
- Lead formal post-mortems after performance and pay cycles, synthesizing outcomes, documenting lessons learned, and developing data-backed recommendations for future programs.
- Own the People team's program calendar and roadmap, coordinating workstreams across HRBPs, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development.
- Build and maintain lightweight project infrastructure, including intake processes, status reporting, frameworks, milestone tracking, and program documentation.
- Identify cross-functional People team pain points and develop structured processes to address operational challenges.
- Ensure relevant People data is accessible, actionable, and appropriately permissioned within internal systems.
- Lead change management efforts for AI adoption across HR, including rollout plans, training materials, communication, and feedback mechanisms.
- Develop rewards and recognition programs supporting AI transformation initiatives in partnership with transformation stakeholders.
- Support programs and initiatives related to IPO readiness.
- Continuously improve People programs by using data, stakeholder feedback, and program retrospectives to strengthen execution and outcomes.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in People Operations, HR program management, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs from planning through execution with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of performance management and compensation cycle processes.
- Experience conducting program post-mortems or retrospectives and translating findings into concrete improvements.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and creating structure, processes, and clarity where limited infrastructure exists.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across diverse stakeholders.
- Experience using AI tools in an HR or People context, or strong curiosity and willingness to experiment with emerging AI capabilities.
- Hands-on AI experimentation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday, as well as project management tools such as Asana, Notion, or similar platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace and modern collaboration tools.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining momentum across concurrent initiatives.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and program management skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and motivated by building new processes and improving how People teams operate.
Benefits:
- Base salary range of $103,300–$148,500 USD annually.
- Potential eligibility for bonus or incentive compensation.
- Potential equity participation.
- Comprehensive benefits package.
- Opportunity to work on high-impact People programs within an AI-first environment.
- Exposure to AI transformation initiatives and emerging approaches to HR and People operations.
- Significant cross-functional collaboration with HRBPs, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Analytics, and business transformation teams.
- Opportunity to influence performance, compensation, recognition, and organizational programs.
- Environment that encourages experimentation, process improvement, and building new approaches rather than maintaining the status quo.
