We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to support the development and delivery of large-scale data center and complex infrastructure projects. In this role, you will lead electrical estimating activities, transforming technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements into accurate and competitive cost proposals. You will work closely with engineering, operations, pre-construction teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure reliable project planning and cost efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to critical infrastructure developments, including hyperscale data centers and other complex industrial and commercial facilities. You will also identify value-engineering opportunities, assess project risks, and support informed decision-making throughout the bidding process. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, technology-driven environment where innovation, technical excellence, and end-to-end project delivery are at the forefront.
Accountabilities:
- Review Project Documentation: Analyze invitation-to-bid (ITB) packages, construction drawings, technical specifications, requests for proposals (RFPs), and scope of work documents to identify electrical requirements and determine project estimating needs.
- Perform Quantity Take-Offs: Conduct detailed electrical quantity take-offs using digital estimating and measurement tools such as Bluebeam, Accubid, and LiveCount to establish accurate material and labor requirements.
- Develop Cost Estimates: Prepare comprehensive and competitive electrical cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and other direct project expenses.
- Manage Vendor and Subcontractor Quotes: Request, review, compare, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to verify completeness, accuracy, pricing competitiveness, and alignment with project specifications.
- Prepare Estimating Documentation: Develop detailed Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation, clearly outlining estimating assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, clarifications, and other relevant cost considerations.
- Support Value Engineering: Collaborate with operations and pre-construction teams to identify cost optimization opportunities, evaluate alternative solutions, and conduct constructability reviews.
- Participate in Bid Meetings: Attend virtual pre-bid and post-bid meetings with clients, engineers, general contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss estimates, clarify technical requirements, and address commercial considerations.
- Develop Professional Proposals: Use electrical estimating platforms such as Accubid, ConEst, and McCormick to prepare, organize, and format detailed cost estimates and professional bid proposals.
- Maintain Technical and Market Knowledge: Stay informed about applicable electrical codes, industry standards, material pricing, labor rates, and evolving construction practices to ensure estimating accuracy and competitiveness.
- Manage Multiple Projects: Coordinate several estimating assignments simultaneously, maintaining accuracy, organization, and consistent delivery within strict bidding deadlines.
- Contribute to Project Success: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support informed project decisions, improve cost predictability, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex infrastructure developments.

- Strong ability to independently read, interpret, and analyze construction drawings, technical specifications, invitation-to-bid packages, and requests for proposals.
- Hands-on proficiency with electrical estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, or McCormick.
- Experience using digital quantity take-off and measurement tools, particularly Bluebeam Revu or comparable platforms.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction costs, including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor pricing, and prevailing industry rates.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills, combined with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations, identify discrepancies, and develop reliable cost comparisons.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, project managers, operations teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple complex estimates and meet demanding deadlines.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities, support value engineering, and contribute to continuous improvement.
