You will oversee multichannel campaigns spanning email, paid media, social media, content, websites, and industry partnerships. Working closely with sales, event leadership, and cross-functional teams, you will translate business objectives into measurable marketing outcomes. You will also lead and develop a marketing team while remaining actively involved in campaign execution and optimization. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, creative, and analytical marketing leader passionate about event marketing, customer engagement, and connected technology.

Accountabilities

  • Audience Segmentation and Acquisition: Define audience personas and customer journeys for systems integrators, installers, manufacturers, design and build professionals, and technology specialists. Create tailored messaging and campaigns to attract, retain, and reactivate target audiences.

  • Multichannel Campaign Management: Lead integrated campaigns across email, marketing automation, paid search, paid social, organic social media, content marketing, and partner channels to maximize audience engagement and registration conversion.

  • Sales and Revenue Enablement: Collaborate with sales teams to develop exhibitor and sponsorship value propositions, sales collateral, prospecting campaigns, and lead-nurturing programs that support new business opportunities and renewals.

  • Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop marketing team members, establish clear priorities, promote accountability, and encourage professional growth while maintaining a hands-on approach to execution.

  • Performance Measurement and Optimization: Manage marketing investments, establish KPIs, and monitor registration conversion, acquisition costs, engagement, and lead generation. Use analytics, testing, and reporting to continuously improve campaign performance and return on investment.

  • Event Marketing Execution: Coordinate pre-event, on-site, and post-event marketing activities, including registration communications, exhibitor marketing resources, educational programming promotion, special features, and follow-up campaigns.

  • Brand and Content Management: Oversee brand positioning, messaging, content strategy, website updates, landing pages, creative assets, and copywriting to clearly communicate the value of attending and exhibiting.

  • Partnerships and Community Engagement: Develop social media, public relations, community engagement, and industry partnership initiatives. Collaborate with industry associations, media partners, exhibitors, and internal stakeholders to expand reach and maintain consistent messaging.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with event leadership, sales, and other departments to ensure marketing priorities support broader business objectives and deliver measurable results.

Requirements

  • Professional Experience: At least 7 years of progressive marketing experience, including demonstrated success leading integrated B2B marketing campaigns.

  • Leadership and Team Management: Experience managing and developing marketing professionals, with the ability to balance strategic direction, coaching, and hands-on campaign execution.

  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong knowledge of email marketing, paid search and PPC, paid social, SEO, organic social media, website optimization, and web analytics.

  • Marketing Technology: Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable CRM and marketing automation platforms, including audience segmentation, lead nurturing, and campaign performance reporting.

  • Agency and Vendor Management: Proven ability to coordinate external agencies, creative teams, media partners, and other vendors to deliver high-quality marketing initiatives.

  • Analytics and Optimization: Demonstrated ability to use data and performance metrics to improve audience acquisition, registration conversion, campaign effectiveness, and website performance.

  • Budget and Project Management: Experience developing marketing plans, managing budgets, prioritizing resources, and delivering multiple campaigns within demanding event schedules.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop compelling messaging for attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and other stakeholders.

  • Strategic and Collaborative Mindset: Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build productive cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced environment.

  • Adaptability and Ownership: A proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and achieving measurable business outcomes.

  • Travel Availability: Willingness to travel periodically for industry events, up to approximately 15% annually, with trips lasting up to one week.
