This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Implementation Project Lead based in the United States.

The Implementation Project Lead will oversee multiple client implementations for a digital health platform supporting hospitals, health systems, and orthopedic specialty practices across the United States. This role combines hands-on project management, client relationship ownership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful platform adoption. From initial planning through the launch of the first patient, you will drive timelines, coordinate dependencies, and help clients achieve their implementation goals. You will work closely with clinical, product, and technical teams, including on projects involving integrations. Beyond managing your own portfolio, you will mentor an Implementation Associate and contribute to scalable processes that improve delivery quality. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery while helping a growing implementation function operate more efficiently.

Accountabilities:

You will lead client implementations from planning through launch, ensuring projects stay on track and clients are equipped to use the platform successfully. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementation Project Ownership: Manage a portfolio of concurrent implementation projects, ranging from standard to complex, supporting clients from the final stages of the sales process through first patient launch and handoff to the Client Success Manager.

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain project plans, coordinate timelines and dependencies, monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively escalate issues to keep implementations aligned with agreed milestones.

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact throughout implementation, lead client meetings, establish clear expectations, secure stakeholder commitments, and ensure deliverables are completed on time.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal clinical, product, and technical teams to resolve implementation challenges and coordinate projects that include technical integrations.

  • Training and Presentations: Deliver engaging, tailored training sessions for surgeons, clinicians, administrative staff, and other end users. Present recommendations, progress updates, and implementation guidance to client leadership.

  • Workflow Optimization and Automation: Use tools such as Monday.com, Confluence, and Claude to organize projects, streamline workflows, automate routine tasks, and improve consistency and accountability across implementations.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve implementation playbooks, templates, and operating procedures to support repeatability, scalability, and a high-quality client experience.

  • Team Mentorship: Mentor the Implementation Associate by sharing best practices and helping establish consistent standards for implementation delivery.

  • Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines digital health or SaaS implementation experience with strong project management capabilities, confident communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in complex healthcare environments. Key qualifications include:

  • Relevant Experience: 3–5 years of experience implementing SaaS platforms or other health technology solutions, ideally for hospitals, health systems, or specialty medical practices.

  • Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated success managing several implementation projects simultaneously, delivering on schedule, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Project Management Tools: Proficiency with project management platforms such as Monday.com and the ability to maintain clear project plans, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.

  • AI and Workflow Automation: Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate routine tasks, streamline workflows, and improve implementation efficiency and scalability.

  • Healthcare Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) integrations and interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR is an advantage.

  • Organization and Prioritization: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance competing priorities across multiple clients and workstreams.

  • Communication and Presentation: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence leading virtual and in-person training sessions, facilitating group discussions, and presenting to stakeholders at different levels.

  • Client Leadership: The ability to build credibility, drive accountability, secure stakeholder engagement, and keep projects moving forward in busy hospital and health system environments.

  • Adaptability and Ownership: A proactive, autonomous approach to work, with the flexibility to navigate complex situations and take responsibility for project outcomes.

  • Benefits:

The compensation and benefits package is designed to support employees' financial security, well-being, and work-life balance. Benefits include:

  • Base Salary: $105,000–$115,000 per year, with compensation determined by qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors. Adjustments may be made for local market conditions and geographic cost-of-living differences.

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance: Comprehensive coverage to support employees and their families.

  • 401(k) Retirement Plan: Retirement savings plan with a company match.

  • Pre-Tax Commuter Benefits: Pre-tax benefits for eligible parking and transportation expenses.

  • Generous Paid Time Off: Vacation time, unlimited safe and sick time, volunteer time off, and additional holidays.

  • Summer Fridays: Additional flexibility during the summer to support work-life balance.

  • Remote-Friendly Workplace: Flexibility to work remotely in an environment that supports productivity.
