  • Develop and enhance service catalogs, Record Producers, and service request forms to support business and operational requirements.

  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers, share platform best practices, and conduct code reviews to maintain consistent development standards.

  • Contribute to ServiceNow architecture decisions in collaboration with architects, technical leaders, and project stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain automated tests using the Automated Test Framework (ATF).

  • Manage the promotion of Update Sets between instances, ensuring traceability, controlled changes, and reliable deployments.

  • Apply security policies, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and access management practices to protect platform data and functionality.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation covering applications, APIs, workflows, integrations, and architectural decisions.

  • Prepare integration guides and technical documentation for teams consuming ServiceNow APIs.

  • Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices that improve release consistency, testing, and deployment automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Practical experience exposing and consuming ServiceNow REST APIs, including Table API, Scripted REST APIs, and Import Set API.

  • Experience designing and configuring workflows with Flow Designer and legacy Workflow capabilities.

  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices for ServiceNow, including Update Sets, ATF, and deployment pipelines using Now Platform CLI or similar tools.

  • Understanding of JavaScript object-oriented programming principles and design patterns as applied to ServiceNow development.

  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external enterprise applications and systems, including configuring IntegrationHub spokes and custom connections.

  • Ability to independently diagnose complex platform and integration issues and implement effective solutions.

  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills for troubleshooting workflow failures, integration errors, and platform performance issues.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into efficient, maintainable, and secure ServiceNow solutions.

  • Clear technical communication skills, including the ability to explain API behavior and integration concepts to non-technical stakeholders and consuming teams.

  • Strong attention to detail when working with API contracts, business logic, authentication, and security configurations.

  • Ability to negotiate priorities and timelines with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other project participants.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, including team ceremonies and delivery practices.

  • Intermediate technical English proficiency, particularly reading and understanding official ServiceNow documentation.

  • Strong collaboration, mentoring, and technical leadership skills, with the ability to contribute to architectural decisions and support developers at different experience levels.
