UI Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a UI Designer based in India.

In this role, you will shape engaging, intuitive, and visually polished digital experiences across web and mobile products. You will transform product concepts and UX wireframes into high-quality interfaces that balance usability, creativity, and visual consistency. Working closely with UX, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams, you will help bring ideas from early exploration through to production. You will also use AI-powered design tools to explore creative directions, accelerate prototyping, and experiment with emerging technologies. • Design intuitive, visually compelling, and high-quality user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

• Translate UX wireframes, user flows, product requirements, and early concepts into polished UI designs, mockups, layouts, and interactive prototypes.

• Develop visual concepts and prototypes that clearly communicate product functionality, user interactions, and the intended experience.

• Leverage AI-powered tools to generate design references, explore creative directions, accelerate concept development, and iterate more efficiently.

• Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, Marketing, and Engineering teams to take designs from initial ideas through implementation and launch.

• Build, maintain, and improve reusable UI components, design systems, visual guidelines, and interface patterns to ensure consistency and scalability across products.

• Apply strong visual design principles across typography, color, spacing, imagery, hierarchy, layout, and interaction states.

• Refine designs based on user insights, product feedback, data, and technical constraints while maintaining a high standard of visual quality.

• Ensure interfaces remain consistent, accessible, and visually effective across different screen sizes, devices, and digital environments.

• Stay informed about emerging design trends, AI-powered tools, prototyping technologies, and interaction patterns, identifying opportunities to improve product experiences.

• Take ownership of design deliverables, balance speed with attention to detail, and contribute actively to a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in UI Design, Visual Design, Product Design, or a related digital product design role.

• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI work across web and/or mobile products.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma and experience with modern design, prototyping, and collaboration tools.

• Practical experience using AI-powered tools for design inspiration, visual exploration, concept generation, and rapid prototyping.

• Familiarity with platforms such as Lovable, Bolt.new, Replit, v0.dev, Magic Patterns, Figma AI, Adobe Firefly, or similar AI-assisted design tools is preferred.

• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, visual hierarchy, responsive design, and interaction design principles.

• Experience developing and maintaining design systems, reusable components, and scalable UI patterns.

• An experimental, curious mindset and enthusiasm for adopting emerging technologies and finding faster, more effective ways to design.

• The ability to prototype quickly, incorporate feedback, and iterate efficiently without compromising design quality.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across design, product, and engineering.

• Strong attention to detail, a sense of ownership, integrity, adaptability, and a positive, proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to collaborate with colleagues based in India and the United States and, where required, work regularly from 1 PM IST onward.
