Software Architect AI SDLC

• End-to-End Software Development: Participate throughout the SDLC, including planning, requirements analysis, architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring solutions meet quality standards and project objectives.

• AI-Assisted Development: Support the adoption of AI coding tools, AI-assisted engineering practices, and modern AI capabilities to improve developer productivity and software delivery.

• Architecture and Platform Modernization: Contribute to architectural design, technology modernization, and platform evolution, building scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Technical Leadership and Mentoring: Mentor developers, promote engineering best practices, and encourage effective and responsible use of AI tools across development teams.

• Business Requirements and Agile Collaboration: Participate in requirements refinement sessions, translate business needs into functional and efficient technical solutions, and collaborate in agile ceremonies and delivery planning, including effort and resource estimation.

• Software Architecture and Design Patterns: Apply architectural principles, microservices, design patterns, and clean architecture practices to create robust and maintainable systems.

• Data and Messaging Integration: Design efficient data flows using SQL and NoSQL databases and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Automated Testing and Code Quality: Ensure software stability through automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, including the use of JUnit and Mockito, alongside code reviews and Clean Code principles.

• Troubleshooting and Production Support: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex defects affecting code, data, and production environments.

• Technical Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of code, architecture, and technical processes to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.

• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the outcomes of AI adoption, identify opportunities to improve engineering practices, and help teams become more autonomous and effective.

• Technology Awareness: Keep up to date with emerging technologies, software engineering methods, and market trends relevant to the project.

Requirements:

• Java Development: Practical experience developing applications with Java 11 and Java 17, along with Spring Boot 3.

• Front-End Development: Experience with Angular 8 and Angular 17.

• JavaScript and TypeScript: Knowledge and practical development experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Node.js: Experience developing applications or services using Node.js.

• Software Design Principles: Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, SOLID, KISS, DRY, and YAGNI principles.

• Software Architecture: Knowledge of hexagonal architecture and the ability to design modular, maintainable, and scalable systems.

• Messaging Technologies: Familiarity with Kafka and event-driven or asynchronous communication patterns.

• Automated Testing: Practical experience implementing automated tests to ensure software reliability and maintainability.

• Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative source code management practices.

• Databases: Knowledge of database technologies and data persistence concepts.

• API Development: Experience designing or integrating RESTful APIs.

• AI Development Tools: Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and GitHub Actions, including AI-assisted coding and development workflow automation.

• Cloud Platform: Experience or knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform.

• Preferred Experience – Agentic Development: Familiarity with agentic frameworks and methodologies, such as AI-SDLC (AISDD), Spec-Kit, or similar approaches, is an advantage.

• Preferred Experience – Legacy Systems: Experience with COBOL is considered a plus.

• Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and translate business requirements into practical engineering solutions.

• Quality and Continuous Learning: Commitment to code quality, technical documentation, engineering best practices, and continuous improvement.

• Work Arrangement: The role is remote. Candidates residing in the Campinas metropolitan region are required to attend the local offices in accordance with the applicable attendance policy.
