In this role, you will lead the coordination and oversight of a strategic, cross-border business integration program involving operations in Brazil and Mexico. You will manage a portfolio of interconnected initiatives spanning business functions, processes, operations, finance, and technology, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Your work will provide executive stakeholders with clear visibility into project progress, financial performance, risks, and dependencies. You will play a key role in tracking investments, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and measuring the business impact of integration initiatives. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and senior leaders across both countries, you will facilitate decision-making and keep complex projects moving forward. This is an opportunity to influence high-impact transformation initiatives in a dynamic, international environment where strategic thinking, financial awareness, and strong stakeholder management are essential.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage and monitor a portfolio of strategic projects related to business and operational integration, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and expected business outcomes.
  • Map initiatives, responsibilities, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and risks across multiple workstreams to maintain visibility and accountability.
  • Consolidate project indicators, progress updates, key deliverables, and results into clear executive reports and presentations that support informed decision-making.
  • Monitor the financial impact of integration initiatives, including investments, expected returns, cost reductions, operational efficiencies, and potential synergies.
  • Identify project roadblocks, interdependencies, and emerging risks, coordinating mitigation plans with initiative owners and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead project review meetings and progress discussions with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders in Brazil and Mexico.
  • Support the integration of business processes, operational activities, and technology systems, ensuring coordination and communication across workstreams.
  • Facilitate collaboration between operational teams, business units, finance, technology, and executive leadership to maintain alignment on priorities and deliverables.
  • Track action plans, follow up on commitments, and ensure that key decisions translate into measurable progress.
  • Promote transparency, structured governance, and consistent reporting practices across the project portfolio.
  • Support strategic planning and prioritization by providing consolidated insights into project performance, financial implications, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Significant professional experience in project portfolio management, program management, or the coordination of strategic corporate initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, performance indicators, and business outcomes.
  • Advanced Spanish proficiency, with the ability to lead meetings, negotiate priorities, and communicate professionally with stakeholders and teams in Mexico.
  • Experience preparing management reports, executive presentations, and project status updates for senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen, including the ability to monitor investments, evaluate cost-reduction opportunities, track financial indicators, and assess expected business results.
  • Experience coordinating initiatives across multiple business functions, including operations, process management, finance, and technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings, align priorities, manage action plans, and follow up on commitments across different teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage effectively with executive-level decision-makers.
  • Strategic thinking, strong organizational skills, autonomy, and the ability to manage complexity while maintaining focus on measurable outcomes.
  • A collaborative and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to influence stakeholders without relying solely on direct authority.
  • Nice to have:

  • Experience with corporate integrations, mergers, acquisitions, or post-merger integration programs.
  • Background in organizational transformation, operational integration, or business process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in financial services, payment processing, fintech, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with project portfolio management methodologies, program governance, or Project Management Office (PMO) frameworks.
  • Experience tracking financial synergies, operational efficiency initiatives, and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Previous experience managing international projects or collaborating with geographically distributed teams across multiple countries.
