Lead a high-impact marketing organization focused on accelerating growth, strengthening brand recognition, and generating measurable business results in the B2B technology sector. As Sr. Director of Marketing, you will bring Product Marketing, Marketing Operations and Intelligence, and Performance Marketing together into an integrated growth engine. You will shape strategies that expand existing customer relationships, attract new enterprise customers, and bring differentiated solutions to market through strategic partnerships. Working closely with executive leadership, Sales, Customer Success, and partner teams, you will connect marketing investments to pipeline development and revenue growth. You will oversee integrated campaigns, digital engagement, marketing technology, and data-driven optimization while exploring practical applications of AI. This remote leadership opportunity combines strategic ownership, team development, and hands-on collaboration in a fast-moving technology environment.

Accountabilities:

As Sr. Director of Marketing, you will define and execute an integrated marketing strategy that aligns business priorities, customer needs, and revenue objectives. You will lead multidisciplinary marketing teams, strengthen cross-functional partnerships, and ensure that campaigns, technology, and insights contribute to measurable growth.

  • Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer and executive leadership to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives, establishing clear priorities, ownership, performance measures, and an effective growth-marketing operating model.

  • Lead Product Marketing, Marketing Operations and Intelligence, and Performance Marketing as interconnected functions, aligning teams around shared growth programs and evaluating campaign effectiveness.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop marketing leaders and team members, strengthen organizational capabilities, and build additional team capacity as business needs evolve.

  • Strengthen brand awareness and market positioning by translating technical capabilities into compelling customer-focused messaging, business outcomes, proof points, product launches, website content, and sales and partner enablement materials.

  • Develop customer-centric marketing programs that support existing customer expansion, new-customer acquisition, and partner-led go-to-market initiatives.

  • Drive website traffic, digital engagement, and demand generation through integrated campaigns across paid advertising, display, LinkedIn, email, search, website conversion, and emerging AI-assisted discovery channels.

  • Build lead generation and account-based marketing programs using account intelligence and buying-group insights to advance prospects through the sales funnel and support enterprise sales conversations.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Sales Enablement, Customer Success, Offerings, and Partners and Alliances to align target accounts, solution priorities, campaign follow-up, partner programs, and shared business outcomes.

  • Oversee marketing operations and technology, including website performance, Marketo, intent-data platforms such as Demandbase and 6sense, and AI-enabled marketing and outreach tools.

  • Improve marketing data quality, workflows, integrations, automation, and reporting to increase campaign relevance, operational efficiency, and performance visibility.

  • Stay connected to execution by reviewing launch briefs, evaluating campaign performance, and helping resolve data, technology, and automation challenges.

  • Apply sound judgment to the use of AI and automation, identifying opportunities to improve processes and collaboration while preserving the value of human expertise.

  • Define marketing goals, budgets, deliverables, content strategies, and performance indicators; assess ROI, qualified pipeline contribution, revenue opportunities, and overall team effectiveness.

  • Manage resources, competing priorities, and concurrent projects while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and standards.

  • Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B marketing leader with a strong record of building integrated growth programs, leading multidisciplinary teams, and supporting enterprise revenue objectives. You will combine strategic thinking and analytical rigor with effective stakeholder management, technological fluency, and a willingness to work closely with teams on execution.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

  • At least 8 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in growth marketing, demand generation, product marketing, performance marketing, or marketing operations.

  • At least 5 years of experience leading marketing professionals, managers, or multidisciplinary teams.

  • Senior B2B marketing leadership experience in enterprise technology, managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or another complex solutions environment.

  • Strong knowledge of marketing strategy, campaign management, demand generation, and integrated growth marketing.

  • Demonstrated success building or improving marketing programs that contribute to qualified sales pipeline and revenue opportunities.

  • Experience supporting enterprise sales organizations and understanding account-based marketing, customer expansion, new-customer acquisition, partner-led growth, and complex buying groups.

  • Working knowledge of marketing automation, generative engine optimization (GEO) platforms, CRM-connected workflows, intent data, digital media, website performance, and marketing analytics.

  • Experience with Marketo, Demandbase, or 6sense is particularly relevant; expertise across every platform is not required.

  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, compelling customer stories and actionable sales and marketing programs.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, project management, and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and allocate resources effectively.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build productive cross-functional relationships.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, including evaluating marketing performance, ROI, budgets, and team effectiveness.

  • A creative, innovative, and solution-oriented approach that combines strategic clarity, collaboration, analytical rigor, and attention to execution.

  • Practical judgment regarding AI and automation, along with demonstrated willingness to adopt emerging AI tools to improve productivity and operational effectiveness.

  • Experience managing marketing budgets, resources, staff priorities, and multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • Experience working within an IT or technology-focused organization.

  • Relevant marketing certifications are preferred but not required; continuing education in marketing, digital marketing, communications, or leadership is an advantage.

  • Benefits:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.

  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).
