Full Stack Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full Stack Developer based in India.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will work across the entire development lifecycle, creating responsive user interfaces, scalable APIs, and reliable backend services using Node.js and React. You will contribute to cloud-native solutions designed for performance, security, and long-term scalability. Working closely with product, design, and DevOps teams, you will help transform complex requirements into intuitive digital experiences. • Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using Node.js, React, and modern JavaScript technologies.

• Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs, backend services, and application integrations to support reliable digital experiences.

• Develop responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant styling frameworks.

• Ensure seamless integration between frontend applications, backend services, and databases while maintaining performance and reliability.

• Write, maintain, and improve automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest and Playwright.

• Apply software engineering best practices, coding standards, documentation guidelines, and secure development principles throughout the development lifecycle.

• Design and implement secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions using modern DevSecOps practices and appropriate architectural patterns.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Refactor, optimize, and modernize legacy applications while maintaining system stability and business continuity.

• Participate in code reviews, Agile sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical discussions to continuously improve development processes and software quality.

• Support CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, and cloud deployment workflows to enable efficient and consistent releases.

• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and use logging and observability tools to maintain system health.

• Stay informed about emerging web technologies, software development practices, and AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity and innovation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Demonstrated professional experience developing and maintaining production-grade applications using Node.js and React.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with HTML and CSS, including preprocessors such as SCSS or LESS.

• Experience designing, building, integrating, and consuming RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is an advantage.

• Understanding of frontend and backend architecture, reusable components, SOLID principles, clean code, and established software design patterns.

• Experience working with relational and non-relational data stores, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Familiarity with cloud-native development, DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of application security principles, secure coding practices, performance optimization, and scalable system design.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and a commitment to maintaining reliable, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Familiarity with application monitoring, observability, and logging tools such as OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to investigate complex issues and deliver effective solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and Agile teams.

• A proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and willingness to manage features from initial design through deployment and ongoing improvement.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience integrating AI or machine learning capabilities into applications or development workflows.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or APIs from AI providers.

• Exposure to GraphQL, advanced API design, and modern application integration patterns.

• Experience working in cloud-based environments and supporting applications that require high availability, security, and scalability.

• An interest in continuous learning, emerging technologies, and improving engineering efficiency through automation.
