Position Summary
Jenkins Plumbing Company is seeking an experienced and dependable Top-Out Supervisor to oversee plumbing installation during the top-out phase of residential new construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive plumbing knowledge, and the ability to manage crews while ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of top-out plumbing crews.
- Oversee installation of water supply lines, drain, waste, and vent piping.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction plans.
- Ensure all plumbing installations meet company standards and local plumbing codes.
- Monitor job progress and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Conduct quality inspections and address installation issues.
- Coordinate with builders, project managers, and other trades.
- Train, mentor, and provide direction to plumbing crew members.
- Enforce workplace safety procedures and maintain organized job sites.
- Monitor materials, equipment, and labor needs to maintain productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of residential new construction plumbing experience preferred.
- Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of top-out plumbing installations and plumbing codes.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple job sites and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
