Iron Mountain Solutions (IMS) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Maintenance Manager / Logistician to support the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Patrol Boat Product Line (PBPL) in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Senior Maintenance Manager / Logistician will provide Coast Guard logistics, maintenance management, configuration management, and technical support for assigned Patrol Boat assets. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience with Coast Guard logistics processes, maintenance systems, and critical databases, including ALMIS, ACMS, CGLIMS-STIP, and related logistics and maintenance tools.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and verify Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) cover sheets, sign-off sheets, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Update ACMS data to accurately reflect maintenance performed on supported assets within required processing timelines.
- Generate Maintenance Due Lists (MDLs), updated Configuration Reports, Significant Component History Reports (SCHRs), and other maintenance and logistics reports as requested.
- Run and review reports using ACMS, COGNOS, ALMIS Decision Support System (DSS), and other applicable Coast Guard maintenance and logistics systems.
- Ensure the accuracy of maintenance data, equipment nomenclature, component configuration, and component history prior to entering information into Coast Guard systems.
- Ensure current Significant Component History Reports are maintained and properly associated with serial-tracked components prior to shipment.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in maintenance and logistics documentation by coordinating with applicable engineering and support personnel.
- Track unresolved documentation discrepancies and elevate issues in accordance with established contract and Coast Guard procedures.
- Maintain accurate and current boat records, including configuration reports, SCHRs, month-end reports, completed Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), Maintenance Procedure Cards, and other required maintenance documentation.
- Enroll new, repaired, or replaced equipment into applicable Coast Guard maintenance systems and update asset configuration records in accordance with USCG procedures.
- Ensure required documentation is completed and processed for outbound components requiring additional maintenance, configuration, or logistics information prior to shipment.
- Utilize ALMIS Decision Support System reports and coordinate with Aviation Logistics Center and other program support personnel to identify and correct errors within ACMS and related databases.
- Review, analyze, and process maintenance, configuration, ordnance, and logistics data from multiple Coast Guard-maintained systems and data sources.
- Work with hierarchical data structures and apply an understanding of system and equipment parent-child relationships specific to shipboard and ordnance systems.
- Apply a working knowledge of shipboard maintenance concepts when evaluating maintenance requirements, equipment configuration, and logistics documentation.
- Support on-site Maintenance Procedure Card validation efforts as required.
- Conduct comprehensive maintenance and logistics analyses and make Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) determinations as appropriate to support the development of logistics artifacts.
- Work closely with the PBPL Ordnance Cell, FORCECOM armories, engineering personnel, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain organizational (“O”) and depot (“D”) level Maintenance Requirement Lists (MRLs).
- Develop and maintain maintenance requirements for ordnance systems and other equipment or tasks directed by PBPL and FORCECOM.
- Assist in determining priorities for Maintenance Procedure Card development, validation, updates, and publication.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of organizational (“O”) and depot (“D”) level Maintenance Procedure Cards.
- Coordinate the validation, publication, and routine revision of Maintenance Procedure Cards and associated maintenance documentation.
- Maintain working knowledge of Coast Guard logistics processes, procedures, databases, maintenance systems, and configuration-management requirements.
- Perform additional maintenance management, logistics, data analysis, configuration management, and technical support tasks as assigned.
- Perform job duties in a professional office and operational environment. Responsibilities may require occasional standing, walking, sitting, and use of tools or controls. Employees must be capable of performing routine physical activities such as reaching, climbing stairs, and effectively communicating with personnel at all organizational levels. The role may also require occasionally lifting or moving office materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
Education and General experience:
- Previous experience working in an Asset Project Management office for the Government.
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Previous experience working in a Coast Guard Environment
- Five years’ general office or Coast Guard experience
