Job Description:

Plan and activate

  • Translate approved media plans and campaign briefs into accurate platform setups, following team direction and established processes.
  • Assist with campaign builds across assigned paid search, paid social, programmatic, and other digital platforms.
  • Coordinate creative assets, specifications, targeting details, budgets, dates, landing pages, and tracking requirements with the appropriate partners.
  • Complete pre-launch checks on settings, links, assets, tracking, naming conventions, and budget details; document and resolve discrepancies before launch.

Monitor and improve

  • Monitor delivery, spend, pacing, and campaign health; flag risks or unexpected changes to the AMD promptly.
  • Make routine adjustments within approved plans and permissions, and bring proposed optimizations to the AMD with supporting data.
  • Help troubleshoot delivery and tracking issues with platform, vendor, analytics, and internal partners, escalating issues that need a decision or broader intervention.
  • Maintain current campaign trackers, calendars, status notes, and records of key changes.

Report and collaborate

  • Pull and organize performance data for recurring reports and client-ready materials; check figures and call out notable trends, variances, and open questions.
  • Share concise, timely updates with the AMD and team, including progress, blockers, and decisions needed.
  • Coordinate campaign requirements and timelines with account, creative, analytics, and media partners so work is clear and on schedule.
  • Capture campaign learnings and stay current on platform changes and digital media practices, sharing relevant takeaways with the team.

What You Bring

  • Early-career experience in digital media planning or buying—approximately 1–3 years, or relevant internship or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • A foundational understanding of paid search, paid social, and/or programmatic media, with interest in building broader platform expertise.
  • Comfort working with campaign data and spreadsheets; experience with reporting or analytics tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through, especially when handling budgets, dates, links, assets, tracking, and campaign settings.
  • Good organization and time management, with the ability to keep multiple tasks moving and communicate when priorities or timelines need attention.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, a collaborative approach, and the confidence to ask questions or raise a concern early.
  • A curious, analytical mindset: you look for patterns, check assumptions, and want to understand how campaign choices connect to results.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

What strong performance looks like

  • Campaigns are set up accurately, launched on time, and supported by consistent quality checks.
  • Pacing, performance, and potential issues are communicated clearly and early, with useful detail for the AMD to act on.
  • Reports and trackers are reliable, and observations help the team learn and identify next steps.
  • Platform knowledge and independence grow over time while campaign decisions remain aligned with the AMD’s direction and client objectives.
