  • Maintain professional relationships with fleet customers while representing Midwest Bus Sales in the field.

What We're Looking For

Commercial Diesel Repair Experience

  • Demonstrated professional experience diagnosing and repairing medium- or heavy-duty diesel trucks, buses, or comparable commercial fleet vehicles.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and commercial vehicle repair procedures.
  • Experience performing repairs beyond routine oil changes, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to identify mechanical failures, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs independently.

Technical & Diagnostic Skills

  • Experience using computerized diagnostic equipment and electronic troubleshooting tools.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle problems.
  • Working knowledge of commercial vehicle brake, suspension, hydraulic, electrical, and HVAC systems.

  • Strong customer-service and communication skills.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to document repairs accurately.
  • Professional approach to representing the company at customer facilities.

Previous mobile service experience is valuable, but experienced shop-based diesel technicians who are confident working independently are encouraged to apply.

You'll arrive at customer locations, evaluate vehicle problems, perform diagnostics, develop repair plans, and complete quality repairs using your technical experience and judgment.

You'll have the independence of a mobile service position backed by the resources, manufacturer relationships, and service support of an established commercial vehicle dealership organization.

This position is especially well-suited for an experienced diesel technician who enjoys troubleshooting challenging mechanical problems, working independently, and building relationships with fleet customers.
