Ferring+You
In this role, you will have a strong focus on Marketing and Sales category for all countries outside of USA. In this geographical area, you will also be accountable for all other categories of spend that our Markets are investing in, with the ambition to deliver demanding savings objectives. You will report into the Head of Procurement, who reports to the Chief Procurement Officer.
The position is based out of our Lisbon office where we already have a well-established team of procurement experts. You will also have peers on various sites across the globe, with whom you will have the opportunity to network, share best practices and continuously improve. This role will have some need of travelling.
Your day at Ferring
- Collaborate with very senior stakeholders in the organisation to evaluate how to best support their needs, help them deliver their objectives and generate savings.
- Ensure all aspects of procurement (local policies and strategies, supplier relationship and risk management, contract management, negotiations) and purchasing (purchase to pay efficiency) are handled according to Ferring standard operating procedures.
- Propose new ways of working to the countries or categories you will be working with.
- Implement Globally negotiated deals in the Local countries.
Behind our innovation…There’s you
- University degree and/or a master’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in procuring a variety of indirect categories with a strong focus on Marketing and Sales categories.
- Experience in international/multinational environment.
- Proficiency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is a nice to have.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Solid experience as a business partner and in stakeholder management.
- Influencing and entrepreneur skills to bring change to senior management.
