About the Role
As an IT Graduate at Essity in Valls, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills through hands-on experience while supporting the day-to-day IT needs of our users.
This is an opportunity designed for someone at the beginning of their career who is curious, eager to learn and motivated by helping others. You will gain practical exposure to user support, ticket management, networking and IT equipment, while also contributing to IT projects at the Valls site.
You will work in an environment where priorities and technical challenges can vary from day to day, giving you the chance to keep learning and gradually expand your knowledge. You will also collaborate within an international IT team, including colleagues in other European locations.
What You Will Do
- IT User Support: Provide hands-on technical assistance to users, helping diagnose and resolve day-to-day IT issues.
- Ticket Management: Manage incoming support tickets, resolving requests within your scope and directing others to the appropriate teams.
- Equipment Installation: Support the installation and setup of computers and other IT equipment.
- Network Support: Assist the team with basic networking activities and related technical needs.
- IT Projects: Contribute to ongoing IT projects and changes at the Valls site, learning from experienced colleagues as you take on new challenges.
- Technical Documentation: Help document technical procedures and guidance to support users and the wider IT team.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with IT colleagues, learning through practical experience and contributing to effective user support.
Who You Are
- You have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
- You are at the beginning of your professional journey. Limited previous experience is welcome, and approximately one year of experience is relevant for the profile.
- You bring foundational IT knowledge, including Microsoft 365/Office, networking concepts and computer installation; familiarity with ticketing environments is also relevant.
- You enjoy solving problems and helping people, communicate clearly, collaborate well with others and, above all, bring curiosity and a strong motivation to learn and develop.
What We Can Offer You
The role is based at our Valls site and follows a hybrid working model, with one remote-working day. The usual working pattern is Monday to Friday, with flexibility around starting and finishing times. No regular travel is expected.
