  • Lead transport tender processes and negotiate competitive transport agreements and contracts.
  • Identify and deliver transport cost optimisation and network improvement initiatives.
  • Analyse transport costs, budgets, tariffs, and financial performance to support business objectives.
  • Manage claims and carrier-related issues in accordance with company procedures.
  • Conduct regular visits to warehouses, plants, and customer locations to ensure transport processes are operating effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve service levels and transport efficiency.
  • Participate in transport-related incident and accident investigations as required.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to transport coordinators where applicable

Who You Are:

You are a collaborative and results-focused logistics professional with strong commercial acumen and a passion for continuous improvement. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building strong relationships while balancing operational performance, customer expectations, and cost management.

You will ideally bring:

  • Experience managing transport, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of road freight and transport management practices.
  • Experience with transport tendering, contract negotiation, and carrier management.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
