Scientist II, Analytics & Metrology

The Role:

Entegris is seeking aQAAnalyticalChemistfor ourKSPfacility.Monday-Friday08:00am-17:00pm.

The QA Chemistis responsible forQA testing and will provide analytical support forproductionof ourFMproducts. The QA Chemist will prepare and test samples usingICP MS, LPC, TOC, Ion Chromatography, and GC FID/MS.

In this role you will:

• Conduct QA testing ofdrum,tubingandmoldingproducts.

• Develop raw material and product testing methods,and support R&D projects

• Follow and documentstandard operating procedures for conducting required tests.

• Set up analytical standards, reagent mixesand/or deliver production chemicals used intestingprocess.

• Analyze and interpret test data,maintaindocumentation of testoperationsand ensure data quality and integrity.

• Perform preventative maintenanceand troubleshoottesting equipment.

• Remove anddisposewaste chemicalsin accordance withcompanyestablishedsafety procedures.

• Handle customer requests appropriately andin a timely manner.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

• A minimum of amaster’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific disciplineand at least 2 years of relative work experience isrequired; strong internship/co-op experiencein a related fieldwill be considered.

• A strong scientific approach and high attention to detail are key to success in this role.

• Abilityto collaborate and successfully work in a team environment while completing individual projects isrequired.

• ICPMS,LPC,TOC,Ion Chromatography, and GC FID/MSexperiences are preferred.

• Experience with a LIMs (Labware) system is a plus.

• Previousexperience in a laboratory environment is preferred.

• Some exposure to an ISO 9000 work environment is preferred.
