About Engramme
Engramme is an AI research lab building Large Memory Models (LMMs) to give people perfect, infinite memory.
We're founded by Gabriel Kreiman, a former Harvard professor, and Spandan Madan, a former Harvard researcher. We're a small, ambitious team in San Francisco working on one of the most fundamental challenges in AI: memory.
About the Role
We're looking for part-time AI Research Evaluators to help us test and improve our AI memory system.
Our technology connects information from everyday digital tools—such as email, messages, and documents—and surfaces relevant memories when they're useful.
Your job is to come to our office, go about your normal productive digital life, and use our system during everyday digital activities and evaluate the quality and usefulness of the memories it retrieves.
Your feedback will directly help our research team understand what's working, identify problems, and improve our algorithms.
This is an on-site, paid, part-time position at our San Francisco office.
What You'll Do
Full onboard to the system and use Engramme's AI memory system while performing everyday digital activities, such as reading, browsing the web, working with emails and documents, or anything productive.
Evaluate Engramme recalled memories and provide feedback on whether they are relevant and useful.
Complete a high volume of careful, consistent evaluations during scheduled sessions.
Identify and report recurring issues, unexpected behavior, and opportunities for improvement.
Meet with our research team on a regular basis and share observations about the product.
What We're Looking For
Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide thoughtful, consistent feedback.
Reliability and willingness to perform repetitive evaluation tasks carefully.
Comfort using everyday digital tools such as Gmail, messaging applications, and web browsers.
Willingness to test an AI memory system using your own digital information, with appropriate consent and privacy protections.
Availability to work approximately 15–20 hours per week in person at our San Francisco office.
Must be at least 18 years old.
No prior AI, programming, or research experience is required. College students and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
Why Join Us?
Contribute directly to cutting-edge AI research.
Work alongside researchers and engineers building a new category of AI technology.
Gain firsthand exposure to how AI products are developed, tested, and improved.
Enjoy flexible part-time scheduling and a collaborative in-office environment.
How to Apply
Submit a short application telling us about yourself, your availability, and why you're interested in the opportunity.
