In the Operations team at EBANX, you don’t just oversee processes. You ensure that every step of our solution runs accurately, efficiently, and reliably, impacting millions of transactions worldwide. What your day-to-day will look like
- Partner with Commercial to define the right technical solution for each merchant.
- Lead technical calls with different audiences, from EBANX solution presentations to exploratory discovery sessions.
- Design and document the merchant solution, validating it with internal teams (Product, Regulatory, Finance, Fraud, Tax, Engineering).
- Present the solution to the Merchant Solution Committee and secure the merchant's formal approval.
- Own the technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.
- Lead the merchant's integration from kickoff to go-live: API guidance, sandbox testing, and certification.
- Set up the merchant in EBANX's internal tools: accounts, countries, and payment methods.
- Troubleshoot integrations with logs and transaction data. Escalate product issues with evidence.
- Run the go-live and transition the merchant to the Technical Account Manager.
- Flag risks early and drive mitigation with internal teams.
- Report weekly on the progress of every merchant you own.
- Spot expansion opportunities (new countries, payment methods, features) and take them to Commercial.
What you need to shine in this role
- Technical background in web and cloud applications and API communication: REST, JSON, webhooks, and authentication.
- Hands-on experience testing and debugging APIs (Postman or similar) and analyzing logs.
- Payments industry background.
- Run multiple integrations in parallel and deliver against deadlines.
- Credibility with business and engineering audiences alike.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with people across geographically diverse cultures.
- English fluency.
- Share knowledge and help develop the Sales Engineering team.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
Bonus points if you have
- Experience in integration, implementation, or solutions engineering at a PSP, acquirer, or fintech.
- Basic SQL.
- Spanish.
- Knowledge of emerging-market payment methods (Pix, OXXO, UPI, and similar).
