About DayOne Data Centers

DayOne Data Centers is a Singapore-headquartered global digital infrastructure platform that develops and operates next-generation data centers across Asia Pacific and Europe. Trusted by leading hyperscalers and businesses, the company engineers, builds, and operates high-capacity, AI-ready campuses with speed, scale, and reliability.

About the Role

You'll lead the supply chain that gets critical equipment to DayOne's data center projects on time. Generators, switchgear, transformers, chillers and other long-lead items set the pace of every build, and you'll make sure supply keeps up with the development pipeline. You'll own supply planning, strategic supplier relationships, logistics and supplier performance across markets. Working with Procurement, Design, Construction and Capacity Planning, you'll reduce delivery risk and build resilience into the supply base as DayOne grows.

Supply Strategy and Planning

  • Build the supply chain strategy for critical mechanical and electrical equipment, aligned with the development pipeline and capacity forecast.
  • Plan long-lead equipment orders and manufacturing slots ahead of project schedules.
  • Standardise equipment specifications with Design so supply can be pooled across projects and markets.

Supplier Management

  • Manage strategic supplier relationships, including capacity reservations, framework agreements and performance reviews.
  • Monitor supplier financial health, manufacturing capacity and quality, and act early on emerging risks.
  • Develop alternative and regional sources to reduce dependency on single suppliers.

Logistics and Delivery

  • Oversee factory acceptance testing, shipping, customs, warehousing and delivery to site with Construction.
  • Track equipment status against project milestones and resolve delays before they reach the schedule.
  • Set inventory and critical spares strategy with Operations.

Risk, Systems and Team

  • Manage supply chain risk, including geopolitical, trade, tariff and logistics risk.
  • Set supply chain processes, data and reporting, giving the executive team visibility of equipment status across projects.
  • Build and lead a supply chain team across headquarters and project markets.

Requirements

  • 15+ years' supply chain experience, including 5+ years leading a team, in data centers, energy, utilities, semiconductors or large-scale construction.
  • Track record securing long-lead mechanical and electrical equipment for multi-site capital programmes.
  • Experience managing strategic suppliers across multiple countries, including framework agreements and capacity reservations.
  • Knowledge of international logistics, customs, trade compliance and Incoterms.
  • Experience setting up supply chain processes, planning tools and reporting.
  • Degree in supply chain, engineering, business or a related discipline.
  • Spots supply risks early and brings options to the business before they become delays.
  • Negotiates firmly with suppliers while keeping long-term relationships intact.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, the working language across DayOne's seven markets.

Nice to Have

  • Supply chain experience specific to data center equipment.
  • Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply membership or equivalent.
  • Experience across both Asia-Pacific and Europe.
