Job Description:

Cotality is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Director, Inside Sales to lead, scale, and inspire a high-performing inside sales organization. In this key sales leadership role, you will focus on driving growth across our specialized Insurance & Restoration Solutions portfolio. You will be responsible for building a scalable, data-driven sales engine, developing and executing revenue-generating strategies, optimizing sales performance, cultivating exceptional talent, and fostering a culture of accountability and customer-centricity.

Success in this role requires more than traditional sales management.

The ideal candidate understands how to connect inside sales execution with marketing, demand generation, product marketing, and product management to create a repeatable, high-performing go-to-market motion. Experience with small and medium-sized business (SMB) sales environments and high-velocity sales models is particularly valuable.

If you are a sales leader with a passion for building high-performing teams, leveraging data to improve execution, and driving sustainable revenue growth, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing inside sales organization, establishing the coaching, operating cadence, performance standards, and accountability needed to scale.
  • Revenue Acceleration: Establish departmental goals and execute strategies to consistently meet and exceed revenue and pipeline targets, focusing on sales productivity, conversion rates, and predictable growth.
  • Cross-Functional Growth: Partner closely with Marketing, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Sales Enablement to build an integrated, data-driven inside sales engine. Establish feedback loops that translate customer insights, sales performance data, and market signals into improved targeting, campaigns, messaging, and sales execution.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Develop and continuously refine scalable sales processes, prospecting strategies, lead management practices, and sales playbooks to improve pipeline generation, conversion, and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Performance Coaching: Build a culture of continuous improvement through effective coaching, clear performance metrics, and consistent execution. Develop talent and create an environment that supports accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Data-Driven Execution: Leverage CRM systems, sales analytics, and performance management tools to identify opportunities, diagnose bottlenecks, improve forecasting accuracy, and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Executive Collaboration: Partner with executive sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align inside sales priorities with broader organizational growth objectives.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage departmental budgets, allocate resources effectively, and oversee financial performance and revenue forecasting for the inside sales organization.
  • Talent Development: Recruit, coach, and develop sales talent and emerging leaders, building a strong, adaptable organization capable of supporting continued growth.

Job Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: Significant experience in sales leadership (7 years or more), including leading, building, or scaling inside sales teams, with demonstrated success driving revenue growth and operational improvement.
  • Strategic Capability: Proven ability to design and execute scalable sales strategies that deliver measurable revenue growth, improved sales productivity, and pipeline expansion.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated success partnering across sales, marketing, operations, and other business functions to improve go-to-market effectiveness and business outcomes.
  • Industry Context: Experience leading sales teams in technology, data, analytics, SaaS, business services, or related B2B environments.
  • Business Acumen: Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience in revenue forecasting, performance metrics, and resource management.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and build alignment across an organization.
  • Technology & Analytics: Experience leveraging CRM platforms, sales analytics, and performance management tools to improve sales effectiveness and deliver predictable results.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience building or scaling inside sales organizations serving small and medium-sized businesses (SMB), including familiarity with SMB buyer behavior, high-velocity sales cycles, and scalable customer acquisition strategies.
    • Demonstrated success developing integrated sales motions across inbound demand generation, outbound prospecting, lead nurturing, and customer conversion.
    • Background in high-growth organizational transformations, sales enablement initiatives, or scaling sales operations.
    • Experience working in matrixed, fast-paced organizations and collaborating with multiple business functions.
    • Prior exposure to insurance, restoration, property, claims, risk management, or related technology solutions.
    • Advanced degree (such as an MBA or related master's program).
